Contributors' access to old content

I just posted the same in the General Forum, but it really belongs here:
I was chatting with a long time contributor who complained to me that she could not see her old contributions or comments on them, because she had let her subscription lag. I think that is wrong! Contributors should always be able to view their own contributions. Please do everything to accommodate your contributors, as I feel it will result in richer content. Thanks for listening.
