Britain's transport police chief praised the actions of one of his officers injured in the attack who took on one the assailants armed only with a baton.
"For an officer who only joined us less than two years ago, the bravery he showed was outstanding and makes me extremely proud," Chief Constable Paul Crowther said in a statement.

There are two things wrong with this, first is the officer was forced to take on a terrorist without a gun, second, the fact that he engaged the bad guy should be a given, not something that warrants upper leadership to go gaga.

I hope and pray that our law enforcement never sinks to such a low. It was on that path under Obama.

For a long time the bobbies have been little more than street crossing guards....
Even on earlier terrorist attacks they arrived after it was over and the terrorist had killed himself....
On this last one they encounter terrorists that were there to kill and not sacrifice themselves....

The inexperienced was clear when that one police officer approached the terrorist on the ground
who was wearing a vest....turned out to be fake...but what if it hadn't !! :o

All is not lost....These terrorists arm themselves with knives and attack with vehicles....
Time to place barriers between street and sidewalks in such a way people can walk between them
and walkers need to arm themselves with sword canes at least, if carrying firearms is not allowed..

If I had to live in the UK I would pack and just not tell anyone about it. If I didn't have to use it, no one would ever know I had it, if I did have to use, who cares what they think.
