Even in socialist lands like Canada and Australia, they look at whether they need immigrants.

And whether the immigrants are likely to end up sitting on welfare.

The U.S. should never have tolerated 12 million illegal aliens who have little education (even in Mexico, etc.), little or no vocational skill, no desire to obey the law, no desire to learn English, etc.

If they can't milk the American tax payers, they'll self deport. Illegals know more about what social programs and what handouts are available than American citizens do, their embassies offer classes on what's available in each State and then help them apply...there is no such program for American citizens.
