So, the next time a judge appointed by a Republican gets a case, what should he do?

He should ignore the material in front of him, ignore the text, ignore the facts, and he should just decide whether he likes Democrats.

If he dislikes Democrats, the judge should just decide the case on partisan grounds and rule in favor of the Republicans who got him the job.

This is the precedent the 4th Circuit created -- ignore what is in dispute, ignore the text, and just operate on what politicians say at campaign talks.
