And no audiotape, or transcript, was kept for the interview with Hillary in which even routine followup questions were not asked.

I predicted the Democrats over played their hand by insisting Comey produce his memos of the Russian investigation. Any drug store attorney knows that it opens the door for discovery for every memo he's taken on other investigations. Plus those memos are State's evidence not his private property since they contain information obtain during Federal investigations and in fact should be part of the file...the question is why, weren't they produced during prior inquires? The fact is if Comey does have memos of relevance to any investigation he was involved in and didn't turn them over, there's a chance those prosecuted could be overturned or forced to retried with the additional undisclosed memos.

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee rebuked Session's call for Comey to release memos taken during the Clinton investigation. Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said he was deeply disturbed that Republicans are attempting to reopened the Clinton investigation instead of concentrating on Russia's involvement into the elections. He said "Calling on Comey to release memo's pertaining to closed investigations is nothing but a distraction from ongoing investigation and won't happen.'

Hell everyone associated with Obama or Hillary we're given immunity to tell what they knew and they then took the Fifth. Prosecutors around the country scratched their heads as why you give someone immunity from future prosecution to tell what they know and then allow them to take the Fifth and not even revoke the immunity.
