Wall Street send message to politicians

You take care of us while you're in office, we'll take care of you when you get out of office.
Barack Obama’s $400,000 one hour speech to Wall Street sparks liberal blowback. “Obama’s $400,000 Wall Street speaking fee will undermine everything he believes in,” wrote Vox’s Matthew Yglesias this week. “To fight the rising tide of populism, mainstream leaders need to raise their ethical game,” he argued.

“The more that Wall Street firms give out-of-office presidents and big-name politicians these paydays, the more they become the norm,” Aaron Blake of The New York Times wrote. “Other presidents will know that such payments are on the table, and it risks coloring their decisions with regard to Wall Street and special interests.” A point Vox’s Yglesias agreed with.
I only disagree with on thing they said. I don't believe the Wall Street speaking fee will undermine everything he believes in, it undermines what he "says" he believes in.

Because Barry is 1/2 white, I will only condemn $200,000 of that money as greedy to the point of absurdity.

Plus, Obama claimed he did not seek the presidency to suck up to "fat cats on Wall Street" (his words).

But there's a lot of blame to go around. Reagan was excoriated for taking $2 million for two speeches in Japan at a time when the United States was locked in economic battle with his hosts.

George H. W. Bush’s association with the Carlyle Group was held up to ridicule in Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11”; and Bill Clinton has been lambasted for extracting $350,000 a speech.

I wouldn't pay FOUR dollars to hear him speak. He has nothing to say.

Ah come on, you know Wall Street was sitting around thinking what Obama has to say about Obamacare and said "Hey let's pay Obama $4000,000.00 to tell us what he thinks about Obamacare". That's how they got rich, they spend their money wisely. You can bet they'll all will be taking detailed notes and share Obama's words of wisdom with their staff, who knows they may even change the way their operations operate with the $400,000.00 in knowledge Obama shares with them. The strange thing though is, Obama has made numerous speeches on Obamacare that are public knowledge, so why are they paying for it again?

We all know Obama comes off as the blithering idiot he is...when he doesn't have a teleprompter...
So maybe he just shows up to collect...no speech... :o :o
