An example of American jobs, but...now the rest of the story. The Boeing Apache helicopter, the AH-64, is made in Mesa, Arizona. Boeing says that the plant has orders that will last until 2026. While it is assembled in Mesa, AZ. the parts come from about 400 international suppliers. This is a fact of life these days; most products are multi-national. To be fair, there are restrictions on military hardware that can be sold to other countries or manufactured in other countries so assembly of the Apache helicopter must, by necessity, be in the USA. .So far about 2200 Apache helicopters have been made in Mesa. Many countries use the Apache.

The smart thing about being the leading producer of weapons is that if they try and use them against us, instead of the bad guys, we can disable those weapons through programmed safe guards and prevent them from obtaining needed repair parts.
