Bill O'Reilly out at Fox News amid sexual misconduct allegations
Bill O'Reilly is leaving the Fox News Channel, the network's parent company announced today.
“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,” 21st Century Fox said in a statement.
The star host has been dogged by misconduct claims -- some sexual in nature -- since an April 1 story in The New York Times detailed alleged settlements made between the host and five women who accused him of harassment and sexual misconduct.
An internal 21st Century Fox memo obtained by ABC News said that the "decision follows an extensive review done in collaboration with outside counsel." The memo was signed by Rupert, Lachlan and James Murdoch, the company's top executives.

So Bill likes to pay top dollar for his pussy......conflict arose when Bill paid a discount price
to some backstreet bimbo who now thinks she should have been treated like a 5th Ave, ho ....
The sponsors seeing a chance to renegotiate their very expensive commercials and get better deals,
fake outrage....pull their ads and are now positioning themselves to get back on FOX
and have their ads air at rock bottom prices..
Heard Bill recently signed a new contract....so he will be laughing all the way to the bank..

O'Reilly had been doing the show a long time and was getting stale anyhow.
For example, he asked Charles Krauthammer and Brit Hume for political advice, and both of them were totally wrong throughout 2016 about Trump's potential, and so naturally they remained the "expert" pundits.
Also, Bill got rich with his books, his road show, and multiple millions per year on "The Factor."
Furthermore, he'll just start some online presence if he feels like continuing to talk about events.
As to Grog, I've been boycotting his posts since the spring of 1953.

Yeah, if there's one thing Rupert Murdock wouldn't bother with in a contract, it's a morals clause.
He doesn't even know what the word means.
I can't believe Murdock would stab him in the back like this.

Wasn't Rupert; it was James and Lachlan Murdoch, Rupert's sons. They wanted to clean house last year when Ailes got canned, but the old man overrode them (something Forbes is figuratively and literally accustomed to. lol).
Bill O will undoubtedly receive a chunky parting gift, but his reputation is thoroughly discredited. Deservedly so.

Grog, such subtleties are lost on the clowns here. They haven't even heard of the guys and wouldn't believe Rupert still doesn't run things. It's the optics they believe in.
For someone with no say in the matter, Rupert still felt the need to send out a memo:
http://deadline.com/2017/04/rupert-murd ... 202072431/
"I would like to address questions about Bill O’Reilly’s future at Fox News. After a thorough and careful review of allegations against him, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Mr. O’Reilly will not return to the Fox News Channel."-Rupert
Rightards would say that qualifies as "stabbing O'Reilly in the back."

Old Rupert's still got a say, but his sons are ascending and they're much more centrist because they're better people and can see the future.
But I wouldn't expect any sharp philosophical change at Fox until Jerry finally fucks Rupert to death. After that it'll be subtle. At first.

I hope O’Reilly starts his own channel, he has the funding and followers to do it. He's a great man.

Liberals, who protected Bill Clinton for decades and still love him, have no position here.
O'Reilly's show needed a shakeup anyhow and his only apparent "guilt" is that he is white and heterosexual.
Will gay leftists like A Cooper or Shep S be kicked out of their jobs? Of course not, but their very presence is harassment.

What enabled me to know Trump was going to win was reading all the positive comments about Trump from women in all my news feeds.
Same with this O'Reilly thing. There is a huge amount of support for him among women who think either it's a setup or these women who are complaining should pull up their big girl panties and get on with it.

Even the Left Wing news outlets (i.e., most outlets) hire "journalists" who tend to be 28, pretty, female, and minority.
Those ARE the criteria.
Then the Left argues that women are TOTALLY EQUAL to men and to such an extent that they can pass Ranger training without a general ordering it for Political Correctness.
But then, when somebody like O'Reilly looks at a pretty girl, they are appalled.
Or pretend to be, if the target is not a Democrat.
