Way To Go Trump

A business man in the White House. Wow! When you invest you should get a return on your investment. Cruise missiles in Syria? Only $93 million +++. What is the return on that? Russia has thousands of military in Syria and are actively engaged with Syrian forces; we have about 1000. Syria is a huge asset for the Russians that they will go to great lengths to protect. Syria gives them 2 warm water ports for their naval weapons. Russia has suspended cooperation between our aerial forces, set in place to avoid conflicts that could lead to a shooting situation. Have you put our troops in harms way just to show our power? Is this the start of an escalation into Syria? You told China about the attack after dinner at your Florida estate/resort/country club. All other major nations were informed of our intentions minutes before the attack. Does this show your respect for China? What will China do to counter this slap in the face?
Diplomacy is extremely complex. I hope that you are wise enough to learn from this action.

The cruise missiles used were older versions about to shelved, Trump saw an opportunity to use them, it also avoids the costs of having to dismantle them. I assure you the 20 fighter jets that Syria lost hurts them much more than the out dated missiles that were put to extremely good use in this case. That's 20 less fighter jets that Assad can use to dispense his chemical weapons against women and children. Or do you have something against those women and children just because they're not Americans?
Obama delivers $500 million in unmarked bills to Iran in the middle of the night, Trump uses outdated missiles that were about to be shelved to send a message using chemical weapons on woman and children is not OK. For less than $100 million those missiles will be replaced with the most recent versions of those missiles. What Obama did with the $500 million in cash...good, what Trump did bad???
What libtard can't grasp is that Trump knows how to do the art of the deal. More so then sending a message to Assad, it was for Russia, Iran, and North Korea. Trump doesn't warn his enemies of what he will do and he will take swift action when called for. They now know, they are no longer dealing with Obama who they played like a puppet.
Assad was like "Where the hell did that attack come from, we didn't even predict it little alone receive a warning"

Let's see now...In less than 24 hours the base is fully operational. Apparently we spent $93 million and we only pissed Russia off. BTW, Russia has sent a naval cruiser armed with cruise missiles to Syria. I'll bet Russia's cruise missiles aren't obsolete. Already Syria is more dangerous because of the raid.
Do you really want to get involved in Syria? There are about 100 groups fighting and loyalties change daily. Getting involved in Syria is a no win situation.

Do you really want to get involved in Syria?
But when the President wanted to ban refugees from Syria.....even Schumer started crying..
and a cupcake judge said ...No, they must come to America! In effect telling them,"We will take care of you".
So the President's response is in line with the cupcake's wishes...to be involved!
So snake....aren't we already involved and haven't we been involved for a long time..??? :o

And almost every "friend" the U.S. has in Europe is suffering with the influx of Syrians.
A big powerful nation cannot step off the world stage.
If it does, the weakness is provocative -- as Obama's weakness was.
Having said that, do I want the U.S. to invade Syria and remain there a decade wasting money as we did in Iraq?
No.

The Russian cruiser armed with whatever passes for advanced missiles in the Russian inventory has a U.S. SSN fast attack submarine in close proximity with a constantly updated firing solution loaded into the torpedoes.

The WWIII decision was made when the Russian cruiser shoots.
Russian commanders, and the Soviets before them, do nothing on their own initiative. All decisions must come from above.
This puts them at a great disadvantage on the battlefield.

Yep, plus Obama also degraded our military, it's a if Obama had a plan to destroy America, the mess Obama left behind will take more than 8 years to clean up.

I guess some think a Russian vessel firing on a U.S. vessel should not be answered in kind.
This is exactly what Obozo would do, followed by an apology to Putin and an offer (probably ANOTHER offer) of a blow job.
Trump is being tested by the various players. Iran is blowing smoke and feels the ability to do so only because Putin supports them. Putin is acting bold because that's what Putin does. He's used to intimidating the U.S. President and he's worried that may not work anymore.
After the cold war was over it was revealed the Soviets were terrified of Reagan and knew they could never prevail in a shooting war with the U.S.

Secretary of State Rex Tellerson is in Russia and is already making inflammatory statements to the Russian people. His inexperience is showing. Our present administration is forgetting the huge stake that Russia has in Syria. Russia has 2 warm water ports in Syria for their military vessels. Without these ports in Syria they would have to rely on their ports in the Black Sea and their warships would have to pass through the Bosporus and then the Mediterranean to get to the Atlantic. A bridge spanning the Bosporus, completed in 2016 is 5100 feet long. In a conflict, we would only have to sink the first ship in the Bosporus to bottle up the Black Sea fleet. It would be great to deny Russia those 2 ports but a shooting situation in Syria is not the way to go.
I feel that we are heading for a bigger military presence in Syria; definitely something we don't want to do. Russia and Iran have issued a joint warning to the US to tread lightly on Syria. There are about 100 different groups fighting in Syria and some of them change loyalties daily. Often these groups will fight each other. Hamas, al Qaeda and ISIS have made Syria a do or die situation. The religious theologies in Syria make governing the place a nightmare. right now the minority religious sect is trying to rule the majority sect.
One thing I feel most are forgetting is that Russia has several thousand troops in Syria, God help us if we accidentally kill a couple of hundred of them. Iran is investing heavily in Syria with money and fighters. Our intelligence people feel that Russia is flying some of the sorties in the war and is even actively fighting with Syrian troops. We have over 1000 special forces in the region. How we have avoided conflict so far between the Russians and the US forces in amazing.
Another thing we are forgetting is the 6 million refugees from the Syrian conflict. 6 million people sitting around watching their families suffer. 6 million people brooding about how the world has abandoned them and feeling that no one cares about them. I wonder how that despair is going to play out. I am sure that there are already some who are planning a payback.
An aside: Russia is negotiating with Afghanistan and the Taliban to bring peace to the country. If they succeed Russia will come out as the Great White Knight and America will have egg on it's face. As I stated before, diplomacy is super complex and fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants decisions do not cut it. Teddy Roosevelt said it many years ago: "Speak softly and carry a big stick."

RealTool is demonstrating that he doesn't know the difference between "the Russian people" and "Putin".
Newsflash, Tool, a lot of the Russian people don't like Putin or his government, but with Trump helping him by providing a common enemy for Russians, Putin will get more of them to support him. With the beat of war drums, Putin can silence the huge opposition to his regime, and pal Trump is helping him do it.

I would discount the Syrian refugees abroad as any significant factor in this.
They already fled, having decided they lacked the guts to fight for their country.

Libtards want Trump to avoid working with Russia but work with them.
I've said from the start, Trump and the Republicans need to stop catering to those assholes, ignore them and get the job done. When the media asks a confrontational or gotcha question, Trump and his people just need to smile and walk away just as the Democrats have been doing for years. Fuckum.
