Obamacare/Trumpcare.

I'm sure everyone knows by now that I consider Trump an abomination. I am still a Republican but this clown is the worse thing that could happen to the GOP and I wonder if his actions will eventually relegate the GOP into a minority party.
Looking at the Trumpcare bill, I wonder how many minutes they spent drafting it. The GOP had 8 years to draft an alternative that the public would buy. They have the Senate, the House, the White House and most of the Governors and they still can't get the voters behind them. I'm sure that I am not the only one watching this débâcle.
That said, I think the best thing Trump could do is throw this into Ryan's lap and divorce himself from it. He could say that he allowed Ryan to come up with a sensible alternative to Obamacare and Ryan failed. He could engage in his usual double-talk and say that he wouldn’t do such a horrible thing to the voters and that he will draft a sensible bill. Trump's approval rating would go up and Ryan's opposition to him would be nullified.
Note I am a lifelong Republican but I give blind allegiance to no one. I am not ashamed to call out my own party when I think they are wrong.
