Tool, when did I ever say the markets would go down? I didn't sell a thing yesterday.
The only place I got bit is that Buffet told everyone he was buying Apple, so the calls I sold are in the money now.
Waaah, I will probably have to sell half my Apple at a 40% gain. Boo-hoo. But that has nothing to do with Trump's speech.
It IS time to start accumulating cash anyway.
What you don't seem to get is that the markets went up because Trump stopped acting like a complete asshole and mostly just read from the script he was given. He showed that he could tell the kind of lies a President is hired to tell us. He didn't act like a ten year old for a change.
The only thing he left out of his speech was substance. But Congress will straighten him out on that one when they reject his budget when it's sent over.

Oh bullshit. Just stop it.
Real....such meteoric rise in the markets in not good. It is a false value add. Where is the actual performance improvement in these stocks? I am always leary of a huge fast gain, because the fall is coming.

Since March 2009, when this bull market began, my stocks have more than tripled.
I certainly don't consider myself any sort of investment guru. Graham's "Mr. Market" has humbled me many times and surely will again.
As it stood before this week, you had averge PEs at about 17 based on projected earnings.
So, if the S&P is not overpriced, it is getting into the neighborhood of being fully priced.
The stock market may be looking 9 months out and expecting business tax cuts, some job preservation in the US, and 1 trillion in public/private infrastructure spending?

Oh I totally agree, the market is way over priced, primarily from Obama's lies about the economy's health and dumping billions of tax money to manipulate the market and keep interests low. But I do believe the market will rise even higher riding on the very positive and open changes Trump will be making. So when do we get off of the wave... who knows, that's why I always ask got gold? For the time being I'm going to stay on the wave because Trump just whipped up a tsunami of hope.
Diversity of investment is my plan, I'll be taking the cream while it's still on top and before it turns sour so I'm all in for the aggressive market as soon as knew Trump would be our President. Obama's 8 years of destruction will catch up to the market sooner or later though, especially if Trump stops propping it up with tax money and the real value is disclosed, an adjustment will come, but when?

Now a days, I only invest in gold bullion( not gold stocks).....
not a meteoric rise like the stock market ...but a steady gain just the same..
Right now I'm just holding, not buying (I never sell what I buy unless I really need the money).

Goes without saying. Personally I feel some have way oversold gold stocks that could turn into a fraction of their stated value if the market turns sour and masses started calling in their notes. Gold bullion is a tangible asset, gold stocks are a promise.

What concerns me here is that the stock market may have priced in pretty much everything including a tax cut which might not materialize until August (just before the congressional recess).

Valid concern but there still a coming wave to ride. The job market is on the verge of sky rocketing, companies are actually hiring, there's an optimism that'll keep the markets high for a period of time. I also have a concern that when criminal charges start to be filed in mass for members of the former Obama admin, it'll shock the market, so that's something to watch...it's coming just unknown when. For now enjoy the Trump ride.
