I have been standing on the side lines for far too long. It’s time to say what should be said.

Our friends at Voyeur Web have been mugged beaten and, I dare say, rapped and indirectly every one of us too. Some person(s) have taken away from us something that give us pleasure and added meaning to our life.

The task that the staff of Voyeur Web have undertaken can be only described as Herculean. The progress that they have made so far can only be attributed to a deeply motivated team that believes in what they are doing.

I have been and IT profession since the early 70s, design and programming systems for many different purposes, both large and small. During that time I have seen and been involved with tasks like this. Until you walk this path you cannot begin to understand what these people are going through.

To my friends at Voyeur Web I will say thank you for your efforts, yesterday, today and tomorrow. And if there is anything a crusty old lurker can do to help, speak up. You have my email
To those who question my friends, let me say this. They have been hurt and hurt bad. In the near future there will be time for all manner of retribution. For right now, if you can’t help them, don’t kick them when their down. They’re doing their best. Take a deep breath, quite down and let them do their job.

You're right..... unfortunately, the sentiment is aimed in the wrong direction. It's pretty clear by now that VC is what VW was, and this is some empty shell of a scam.

Nora... obviously another one of their ploys. Don't buy it, not for one second!!!!

Very desperate they are!!!!

I assure you that these sentimates are my own. My only connection to Voyeur Web is that of a member. Contrary to what OBERON2 and IMATNME say. Don't let them lead you to false conclusions. At least in this case, they have no grounds for their claim.

Rezzi, The question is whether or not I buy into their line of crap, but rather if I buy your line of crap. I can say with a high degree of certainty that I do not.

It is time for me to go back into the shadows; to become a lurker again. I have no desire to get into battles of words with anyone. It does not matter whether they are worthy of the task or not. There is more important activities in my life that this. Well, maybe a sigmoidoscopy It maybe a little worse than this battle or words, or at least it’s equal.

You seem to have the situation figured out...
I think the VW folks have made some mistakes, mostly in underestimating how much damage was done and how difficult it is to get the sites up and running.
Some of those siding with the ******** effort must actually feel the way they are saying,,but they are so misguided,
The simple facts remain...Igor and his ilk severly damaged the VW sites.
They could have launched a new site and let people join. Instead that tried to kill VW, (and may have succeeded) and those who ae blasting the VW effort to get the site back up have no idea how difficult it is...made even more difficult by the damaging bugs, viruses, etc. Igor put in the sites, in the months he planned his criminal acts.

No one can kill VW. Voyeurweb will go on for many more years to come. 4 weeks down time was a shocker esp that it was unexpected but we have also provided 15 years of uninterrupted service and we will provide that service again for another 30 years. Thank you for the encouraging words and the understanding of the monumental task that was placed before us because of a thief.
