The Mexican President cancelled his scheduled meeting with Trump to discuss trade and other issues, Trump responded. Since Mexico refuses to discuss the issue, we are putting a 20% import tax on all Mexican goods coming into America. Since the United States imports $60 billion more in goods from Mexico than they purchase from us, there is no way for them to retaliate. Plus the United States gives Mexico 100's of millions in aide, which could be taken off the table. It's a win, win for American workers, the higher prices of goods imported from Mexico will provide room for competition for American workers to produce those items = more jobs and the tax money raised from "Mexicans" can be used to pay for the cost of the wall.
