I have one simple question,how are you going to pay for it?

For those who don't know, VAT is value added tax. When anything increases in value it is taxed on it's new value. Example,

ron ore taken from the ground-taxed

ore made into pig iron-taxed again

Pig iron rolled into sheet steel-taxed again

Sheet steel made into car bumpers-taxed again

Car bumpers sold to a car manufacture and put on cars-taxed again

Around the world, the Left wants universal "free" health care, but also a basic level of income so that nobody would really need to work.

So the theory would be that people could self-actualize, become who they really want to be, and that talent would thus be set free.

But isn't the problem that the vast bulk of people have no real talent and would simply sit at home and watch TV or play on their (free) computer?

I have one simple question,how are you going to pay for it?
