Tomorrow is this Nation's big day! Boys and girls put on your happy faces let all tears be tears of joy. I've closed shop tomorrow so everyone can take the time to reflect upon how Americans woke up and ended this social experiment that's destroying our country.

I will be playing this at full volume.

Applies to Obama, Moochelle, and quite a few liberal celebs.

tvd, now you see how RealTool just regurgitates faulty talking points from his handlers.
He got some tea-mail this morning and he swilled it down without question.

RealTool doesn't actually have a clue about what's going on out in the real world or even what day it is.

There are no grounds for that tea remark.

The Tea Party was a good thing for America the first time (taxes are bad) and the second time (defiance of entrenched politicians).

Tool, that song only applies AFTER his term is over, not before, dummy.
You don't sing it before your challenges begin, but when you're looking back on challenges met.

Don't conservatives have any understanding of ANYTHING involving the arts?

Dude, it's about the election, he did it HIS WAY, and now the time has come. Sometimes I wonder if you really are that dense or you just pretend to be so.

No, Tool, that song is not about running for anything or starting anything.

It's about having finished something.
Getting elected is just the start of something, not the finish of something, numbnuts.

As for your limited grasp of musical lyrics, don't be too discouraged. For aesthetic appreciation, always a little time.

It's about having finished something.
Da Donald "finished" the election as a winner, and he did it his way!

Tool, you need to understand that an election is not "finished" on the day the vote is cast.

An election is "finished" on the day the winning candidate leaves office.

That's some rather strange and picayune hair-splitting, Clown.

The election is done. In a little more than 24 hours Donnie will officially be the most illegitimate POTUS in history.

That's a fact.

I gonna watch the inauguration all day....
A lot of artists once considered first rate have shown to be second rate by
chasing reporters and wanting to be publicly interviewed and photographed refusing
the invitations to perform at the inauguration....
But that's OK...because the real entertainment will be provided by the Left....
I can't wait to see what antics they have in store for all of us...
Their pie in the face levity since the election being any indication...

"That's some rather strange and picayune hair-splitting, Clown."-Grog

Grog, we can look at this two ways; one literally and one more poetically.

RealTool said "Dude, it's about the election, he did it HIS WAY,..."
Elections are done the way of state laws. They take place on a single day (plus absentee voting) and no Presidential candidate has any say over them. So Trump can't be said to have 'done the election his way' when it is done the way of state governments. Tool is literally wrong in his comment.

So okay, what Tool is really trying to say is that Trump's successful CAMPAIGN (not the election) was done his way.
Yes, the campaign was done his way. But that isn't enough to sing the song.
You must put that achievement into the context of the song "My Way".

No election is "the final curtain" for the winner. It's a curtain going up.
"And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain."
RealTool is saying Trump will sing the song at his inauguration, where Trump will have taken on the responsibilities already. The inauguration is not "the final curtain" for any President. "the end is near" only if the President is assassinated shortly after he is sworn in. Is that what Tool is saying will happen?

Let's say someone wins an election and then goes home and refuses to take office. Such a person cannot sing "My Way" when he has abdicated his responsibility to the people who elected him. They are quitters, and that's not what the song is about.
He hasn't "traveled each and every highway" if he simply sat down and refused to travel the particular highway placed before him by the election.

So let's say the person takes office and quits half way through his term.
Again, that person cannot sing that song because he has quit and failed in the challenges put before him.
"I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall; "
If the winner refuses to take office, or if he quits office half way through his term, he cannot say he "faced it all" so he cannot sing the song.

The only person who can sing that song is the one who saw it through to the end, and in this case "the end" is the completion of one's term in office, not the election.

Grog, if you have an argument for rationalizing Tool's silly statement, let's hear it.

No. I don't have an argument for Tool's or for yours except that you're laboring.

Tool is a moron. So are Forbes and the rest of them. When you spend as much time as you do belaboring their labor, then you're an idiot of the same vein as they are.

You want to get down in the gutter with them? That's your business.

I enjoy watching clown labor to defend his position, he goes into great detail only to be told by me...you failed. He then goes into even greater detail to defend his previous defense of his position only to be told by me...you failed. Can't wait for his next defense, watch this ;)

Dude, it's about the election, he did it HIS WAY,..."

Grog, seriously? You're not down in the gutter with them too?
You're here, aren't you?

None of my posts above were any more "labored" than yours until I took the time to explain to you why I made those previous comments.
You called them "hair-splitting" when they're not. I wanted you to understand that I knew what I was saying even if you didn't.

As I told you before, I use these fools to work out all the arguments to use against their ilk in real life when some idiot is regurgitating the same crap unchallenged. It shuts them up.
I understand that the clowns here don't grasp a word I say. But then, they don't grasp a word you say either, and yet you keep posting.

If you can cast pearls before swine for entertainment, I can drop bags of quartz on their thick skulls for entertainment.
The difference is, when I do it they eventually whimper and run away. You don't touch them in any way that matters to them.
Do you really think that is more entertaining somehow?

In the real world, elections are the culminations of campaigns. Once the election is done and the votes are counted, it's done. It's over. Then we move onto their tenure in office.

In this instance, the election was over when the electors elected Donnie. End of story. He is our wholly illegitimate POTUS.

One thing about this song: I believe they had an orchestra and two singers performing the song last night.
Correct me if I am wrong, but it seemed to be a live performance.
If that is the case, why not re-write the lines that were not applicable to the Trump election process and future administration? It would have immediately put the critics in their place and would have been another "surprise" that would have set the detractors in their place. Nancy Sinatra herself was criticizing his choice of song.

Suggest...."And now, the end is near" be changed to "And now, my way is clear"...something like that.

I'm no historian, but has there ever been an election so remarkable in the modern era?

The Repubs were against Trump, and the Dems, and the media, and sometimes Trump's own remarks slowed him up, but he kept powering forward on the "America First" message.

He was correct that the world needs some big, strong country to also be a fundamentally good country.

But the Left thinks America is bad -- racist, sexist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, and needs to change into yet another weak socialist mess like Europe/Canada/Aus.

Protests today in Hamburg Germany because Trump is threatening to force Germany to start paying more for their own defense. You actually had Germans melting down in the streets with anger that American tax payers might stop paying for Germany's defense. Across the world they're in shock American tax payers might stop handing out money and providing American troops to defend them so they don't have to spend money on it.

Americans were a large part of the NATO-related force in France, but long ago France got out.

Americans were stationed in force in Germany for many decades. Even Elvis served there.

This long after WW II, it is crazy that Germans don't pay more for their own defense.
