Viscount!

Just checked it out and it looks nice! What were the rates ball park? I see they are beagle friendly as well..... how close to the Venetian or Luxor? The venetian is very nice I think. The Luxor less so IMO. The Belagio is pretty good too.

I like the boutique idea though so can you elaborate a little?

DD,

If you want to use private message or email and elaborate on the problem a bit I might be able to help. I suspect there is a way past it but need more info. Can you at least copy the file as it is encrypted and put it on a thumb drive to preserve it in case it is corrupted trying to open it? If so copy it twice and o my work on one of the copies... NOT the original. Happy to help me if needed.. RC

RC: Heels are great and when a man compliments us, we know they have looked top to bottom. I had some great shoes on at an event that is mostly women. Anyway can't say more than that, however, two men were there and one complimented me on my shoes. I wore some to a formal event and I had women gaw, gaw over my shoes (different shoes of course). A friend had given me those ones. Hot, hot shoes.

I think it has been to told us ladies, heels/jeans and a tshirt is something men love to see women in. So you are on target for what they (magazines) have told us.

Countessfun: There is a hotel in Canada called Fantasy Hotel and it has different themed rooms. Suck as Tropical, Truck, and a few other themes. Some times some low rates too. Attached to a mall and a water park. Great fun.

Thanks for the clarification on the heels, Rock. For some reasonI was having a hard time following what you were trying to say. But ya gots me all straightened out. And very well said, I might add.
"But the point I was trying to make it isn't the wrapping that I find attractive its the inner mystery of a woman that draws me in again and again.... Photography is much the same..... its what the image makes you feel.... the emotion it elicited that brings me back and back again.... "
It really is refreshing to know there are people who view this site that actually appreciate what the contributors are trying to project... and I'm talking about the contris that aren't just a bunch of random shots thrown together and submitted.

I hope Rock's rant about making the contributors feel good . . .
I like all the contributors to post and feel good about the post they did. That takes a lot of gumption to put yourself out there and to hear comments about not liking whatever; well, that's a really great way to leave a bad taste in a lady's mouth and cause her to re-assess whether she will ever post again... That's my take. I remember when Iris and her sister posted and her sister has a lot of ink. The comments were degrading and cruel. Note we never saw her again either.
. . . wasn't directed toward me. I have never been anything but complimentary toward Ormi, she's a perfect body type, imho, (which I hope I'm still entitled too.)

I hope I know you better than that, Rock.

And besides . . . I kinda' take exception to you yelling at Berty about his cigars. I happen to enjoy a stogie now and then museff. Even "Slick Willy" style, on rare occasion. ;)

And . . . if you wanta' wear heels when you're ranting . . . more power to Ya' Brotha'! :D

Viscount, your comments about Vegas hotels brought back some memories for me. And for some reason I feel compeled to share.

Not long after we met, my late wife's company held a quarterly meeting at the Luxor, and while I agree with your assessment of the accomadations, the welcome I got upon arrival was Damned hard to beat. Wish I had been camera ready.

I couldn't travel with her to the convention because I had a board meeting myself here at home on the last day of her meeting. So, she flew to Vegas and I was to meet her there after my meeting. Of course my meeting ran long and I was really looking forward to a couple days with my new found Love, on her expense account, so I jumped in the car, still in suit and tie, and flew to Vegas myself, just at a slightly lower altitude. (I really miss that Black SS.)

When I got to the hotel, with out getting arrested on the way, I called her and asked what room she was in and commented that btw, I was still dressed for dinner if she wanted to go out. She said, "Oh good, so am I."
She gave me the room number, saying, "Just turn right when you get off the elevator, I'm at the end of the hall."

Soooo, up I went and obediently made a hard right when I stepped thru the elevator doors. There at the far end of the hallway was my date for the evening, leaning back against the window, legs crossed at the ankles, dressed for dinner, as promised, wearing nothing but heels and a smile!!

As I strolled toward her, admiring what promised to be on the menu for the evening, I asked, "How long have you been waiting like that?" Her reply with a wink, "Just long enough," . . .
. . she grabbed my tie and led me through the door . . . (we ordered room service.)

I sure miss that Li'l Irish Tease!

Reading this made me think of the hubby's (who was then BF) and my Vegas trip a few years back in 2008...where it SNOWED. I packed all these sexy clothes then wound up wearing my sweaters and coat the majority of the time since we did not have a car and were walking most places. Of course even with the snow it was still a great time, and it was really cool to see snow on palm trees, but the hubby would certainly have preferred some warmer weather (and less clothing)!

We stayed and The Hotel - yes that is actually the name from what I remember, and the corner room had an incredible view (and for our furry VW members, they do allow dogs). Although the Artisan Hotel sounds great too, and 21 and over sounds even better ;)

Kiki!

Hi there!

I sent you an email and some code links to try for propics...... take a peek? Also owe you some fixed contri pics I have to dig off the hard drive still.... I know....lazy beagle!

There have been some thread comments on several different threads that I wanted to comment further on... and rather than hi-jack those particular threads, I thought I would try it here.

The basic purpose of the Contri Connections section is to allow more in-depth conversations and interaction between contributors and members. Those that were around before the crash were familiar with the bb's and there were times it was quite active.

When I first started posting comments a few years back it took a while for me to figure out the "etiquette" and "un-written rules" of starting a new thread and posting comments. So, for your benefit...

Posting comments is pretty easy. We keep it "respectfully cheeky" here and generally supportive. Sure, there are disagreements and the such but that happens everywhere. Differing opinions are gonna happen but we ask that downright rude or offensive comments be taken elsewhere.

Starting a new thread... There are no posted rules (that I am aware of) on that. Anybody is welcome to start a new thread. In fact it is encouraged. I'm sure there are people out there that get tired of seeing the same people start threads... like that Jbe guy. Well, take it upon yourself to start a new thread.

I've noticed as of late there have been threads started by other peeps and I'm glad to see that happening. But then you might wonder why some threads see little action or additional comments. Ahh-hah! Let me tell you.

A lot of contributors are not familiar with this side of VW. So especially for the newer contributors you need to leave them a comment in the contri comment section and invite them over. That is when you find out if they are reading their comments and join in over here. If they join in they will generally get a lot of support and encouragement from the folks that hang out here. However, if they do not join in then threads will quit getting started for them.

It was Jerry or Thinker that posed the question to me (or someone) on how to do that thinking there was some special way or if we had some special privileges. Nope... you just gotta leave them an invite in the contri comments.

Also, some of us "old-timers" will not start a thread for certain ladies. Grumpy made a reference to that on a recent thread. A few years ago there was a rash of Russian/Ukraine pros that were posting all over mostly for the purpose of winning the prize money. Yes, they were some beautiful women but they never joined in on the bb's. There are some women posting now (no names mentioned) that may or may not fit into that category but are suspect by some here... and hence get no threads started... or not often. If they do get threads started you'll see that not many comments are posted.

There are also photographers claiming to be amateurs (a whole other topic) that post many different women. They also tend to not join in on the bb's. And there are personal preferences and some people just don't want to comment on a particular thread.

I encourage everyone to support the gals that post here and start a thread if you like a particular contri. But, please invite her over if she isn't already aware of the bb's And please post a link in the thread. It's not a "requirement" but does make it easy to view the contri and comment. Try to not get discouraged if they don't respond. It takes a lot of attempts to get one to join in.

It sounds like this is some special club for only a select few. That is NOT the case. I didn't make the rules. I'm only passing on info that I acquired over the years to make it smoother for the newer folks.

And on that note, I'm off my soapbox...

Rock Climber: I would private message you but I deleted it. I know how to copy and paste, I have never had a problem of the pictures from VW disappearing. I know some times some are only got for 30 days I think, and yet I can keep others forever. I think the last updated messed them up. Thanks for trying to help, I will just have to try and remember. As hubby purchased a new car last year that is a collectors item and want to do pictures this summer with it. Anyway....I will try and remember just seeing her shoes stepping out of the car, then her back side, and can't remember the 3rd pic I saved, but guess I will have to be creative myself.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Skeetz: That was a good one about Vegas.

We went to Vegas and not as brave, but did two sets of pictures one on the window looking out on the strip. Then one in a bathroom that had a 3 way tub.

Then the last time did a set in the room with a Bar, and went to sexy night show. Holy cow I would have loved to do pictures with on of them. She had so much energy and was Latino and could dance like no others. That was fun and also had a full body massage and I would die for another one. That was two years ago on Valentine's day. I have to admit Vegas isn't my favorite place, but closer than most places where you can do what you want. Wish we had done more as it warmed up finally the second day, and we were up early and no body around. Like hello, what the heck were we doing and not thinking, pictures would have bee great. HELLO However, more people arrived, it is kind of dead the first two days and then picked up. We did go during the week, not the weekend. Must have had deals for the other days and why so many more people.

Believe it or not, I've never been to Vegas. That whole "What happens there stays there" thing means I probably wouldn't be allowed to go, either. At least not without a chaperone!

As to the comments on ink and steel, I'm from the "all things in moderation" school of thought. I like a pure, natural body, but the right ink or piercing can be hot if done well and on the right person. Ink on thighs and boobs is always a turn off for me, but hey, thats just me. A bit of ink on the base of the neck, or even a tramp stamp can still be real damn sexy. And nothing...NOTHING... beats a smooth pussy and a belly button ring! But that's my thing. Other people prefer other things. Sheekri was covered in ink, but man, she was seriously hot! She was proof that all different things can be sexy.

For me, it always comes down to how much the model appears to be enjoying herself. The really great ones...Elise, Trinity, Manda (when she posted pics) all draw us in with their smiles and their eyes. I can't speak for anyone else, but those ladies (and a few others!) become my favourites because when I look at their pictures, I can see the fun and the personality inside. That, after all, is what sets true beauty apart.

DD...we love Hawaii. Our favorite is the Big Island. Jaybird & I have considered moving there and it's still on our wishlist. Vegas is close enough for a day trip for us and we're willing to meet any of the COFFers that head that way. We have gone to Key West for Fantasy Fest and would like to do that again.
By DangerousDi
#22880
Countessfun. Fantasy fest sounds fun. How did you two dress up?

I don't know how far Vegas is for us, but I am thinking maybe a 2 day drive??????

I am not sure what Island is my favorite. I like different things about different islands. Been to 4 via a cruise we took when dh (darling husband) turned 30 and I was 28. Oh to be that young and know what we know now would be something else. When I was young the internet was around and showing off wasn't really a thing that any heard of. No pics done back then when my boob were a couple inches up although they are still perky, one thing about not having big boobs. 32b back then 36B today. Oh I have to stop dreaming of those days and get on with right now. Although my husband tried for years, I wasn't that liberal.

Hey Thumps, I was tempted to offer to be your chaperone in Vegas. The prospect of teaming up with Lady T in that endeavor had me grinning lecherously as I mulled it over. :) But then I realized we would most likely both end up in jail, leaving the lovely Lady alone in Vegas, and that could be REAL trouble.

DDi, I could tell ya' lots of stories about Vegas but I'd have to do it from behind one of those back lit, silhouette panels and disguise my voice. Not sure if the statute of limitations has run out yet on some of the really fun stuff.

Of course I remember Vegas from the old days when the "Strip" was still just a two lane hiway leading into town, (after a looong ride across the desert.) Fremont Street was where the action was in those days. Made my first trip to Vegas at the tender age of 17, in my yellow '57. . . Chevy, that is. Of course we were repeatedly chased out of the Casinos, but we quickly learned that there were lots of other ways to be corrupted in "Sin City."

Mandadee's: Keeping the guys interested, good thing.

I see at the bottom of your post is a signature about Music and God. Do you have band radio? I like channel 63 and it is lively Christian music and there is a hard rock Christian channel also. What I like was something very interesting happen with the music channel one day. I was afraid I had breast cancer and I would die and leave my child behind. I was crying as I was driving where ever, and this song came on. I had never heard it before, and never after and have had band radio for a very long time (years like 10). Any way the song kept saying "your okay", it went on and on and on. Finally it hit me this was a message. I knew what ever happened I would be okay. However, never did find a song that said "your okay". From that point on I knew I was okay and the spot disappeared.

OK COFFers, The PROPIC project is getting picked back up by Kiki so give her your thoughts and suggestions!

This is my basic list of desirable features. I'm going to use the "LIST" tab above to generate it and see how that works.
  • larger sized propics either any size or max out at 1000x1000 or at a min 800x800

The ability for the smaller thumbnail at 175x175 pixels that we use now to be automatically resized and generated from the larger one

The ability to save within a personal scrap book any prior propics the user wishes to save. (ie when you load one you should have the option to default load the new one and then go back and delete the prior one if the owner wants to. Let's say she likes the first and third and is now on her fourth one, so she goes back to the second and clicks remove?)

The ability to easily view those saved images by other users within the profile of that individual propic owner

PERHAPS the ability to comment on the users scrapbook by other users AND the owner's ability to approve those comments or remove them? There is a balance between the ease of viewing and browsing the images and the ladies desire to make it just a little bit more of a challenge to find her personal images? I personally think, and I have discussed it and am not alone in this thought, but sometimes it doesn't need to be quite so easy to find things. (more on that later)

MORE explainatory directions on how to use the new Kiki' style GALLERY and SCRAPBOOK (this is MY term, not VW's)

Ok, I'll shut up now and admire Manda's ermmm smile......

#23002
That'll be great if Kiki can get that implemented, Rock. Those little propics are just not doing it. :?

DD, lets see if we can get you through the process. Go to User Control Panel and click "Profile" which I believe you've got that far. Click on "Edit avatar". Go to the "Browse" button and go find the pic you want on your computer. Click "open" and then hit the "Submit" button. You may need to size it down a little if it is too big for VW auto re-sizer. That should do it.

Hi Jerry. We're getting some 90° weather already. I hope that is not a sign that summer will be here early. I'm not ready for 110° yet.

Weird... on Saturday "Nora" posted a couple of contris. If you remember, she was banned from here a year or two ago supposedly for being a pro. I made comments on both contris saying that... but now the commetns are both gone. Guess somebody didn't like me saying that. :?

Manda... ahhhhh... heavy sigh...

Naughty Naomi found her way to her thread. I invited her here as well. Stop by her thread and show some love. ;) ;)

#23009
JBE; I did all that and it didn't work. So next question, how do you down size the picture. I tried to see what size it was and I don't know where to look on that. Then I have no idea how to downsize. Help some more. Least I got the rest of it right.

Jealous of your hot weather, our right now is 50, and 50 - 60 MPS wind. Of course brining in a cold front tomorrow.
By Jbe
#23015
DD, OK... when you submitted your pic did you get a message saying it was too big or too small? If it said it was too big then you can downsize your pic if you have some editing program. As far as seeing the size, right-click and go to "Properties". That will tell you the size.

If you don't have an editing program then right click on the pic and open it. If you have Microsoft Word it might open in Picture Manager. Go over to the Picture Tab and go down to Resize. You can compress, crop, and resize there.

If that doesn't work, send me the pic and I'll re-size it for you. I'm not a computer wiz by any means but I can do do some editing.

That means it is too big. You are currently allowed 175 by. 175 pixels AND a file no larger than a set number of mevabites. Some images have a lot of data attached to them and are large files even though the image. May be sort of small when you look at it. Resize and your fine.

Those Vegas hotels sound really interesting. If I ever make it over that way they would definately be ones to check out. I am hoping this next year to get a little more free time so I can think about a trip or two without scheduling changes with work making my head spin!

Manda, if and when you decide to make a trip to Vegas, you be sure and give me a call. I'll drive up from my part of the left coast (I'm only 3 1/2 hours driving time) and we'll see if we can get Jaybird and Viscount to drive down from their area... and we can meet in Las Vegas and have a Manda sammich! Yuuuummmm... that sounds way tastier than anything found on the SMC thread! It's time for a COFF Town Hall meeting... in person and not just virtual. Now wouldn't that be fun? The trouble is we are all way to spread out. :( Let's see... left coast... right coast... midwest... England... southwest... Hmmmm.. a logistical nightmare.

Speaking of which, the countdown continues. Three weeks from today we crawl on the big silver bird and head across the pond to Bertyland. :D

I am hoping to get to FF this year myself, I want to dress up as Wonder Woman for their "Super Heroes, Villains... & Beyond” theme. Not really original I know, but she is a favorite of mine :) Countess, any advice on where to stay while we're there?

DD, Which island are you looking to go in Hawaii? Also, if you still need help with that propic just PM me, I can assist you further with it. Regarding Lace69, she is active and well (and still sexy as hell), but she is over on the Explicit BBs with a very hot profile picture which is too explicit for these boards, although she's got her same avatar as it was here. I just wanted to give a shout out to DD for being such a great member of COFF. She is always searching for good information for everyone and writes great posts. What a great addition to COFF she has been. We just need to see "more" of you sweetie!!! I love seeing that many of the old members are coming back and that we also have new people joining all the time. Makes for a great group!

I also wanted to thank all you guys who commented on my instant "ass flash" photos a couple of weeks ago. I really appreciate it when you guys do that for me. I had one of them that was scoring well, but of course it got removed. That always happened to me before, and now it happens again. I know it was risque, but I was just going by what others had posted and thought it was OK. Even though other posts were similar to mine, mine was removed. No explanation. No anything. Of course, being a "mature" lady, if I just post regular pictures I don't stand a chance to get much attention. I get one that does well, and of course it gets deleted. Again I am reminded that I don't think VW is a place for me to post any pictures. Between the insults from the few bad apple viewers, difficulty in sizing pics, and constant removal of my pictures, it is not a place that seems to work for me. I am a little upset that all my previous posts are also gone, even though others are still here from the past. Anybody know why that is?

Anyway, as you can tell I am frustrated by the site, but I love my COFF buddies, and even if I don't post anymore pictures here I will show up every once in awhile and give you all a hard time!

I think you guys are great! (I am posting one last profile pic update for fun!).

Awe Hollybabe: You make me blush. I try to be nice, and give information. I have spent a lot of time learning the tips I give. Trying to save someone time and effort in learning. However, let me tell me if you want an honest answer and you ask me you are going to get it be you like it or not. Infact after walking 1.5 miles this morning with our aunt, she had me come to her house and she wanted to know about the mirror she got. I loved it and it went with her things so very well. Not my style but her's. When I said how I liked it, she said good because I know you would tell the truth.

Hollybabe and KIKI: I can find the pix size, that part is okay. However, I couldn't find the size MEGABITES any help there, or do I just down size the 4x6 to smaller? Still learning.

KIKI; The Main Island Ohau. It is work event for my husband and my son will go with us too. I will hit the flea market by myself if I have to it has everything you buy in town but 1/2 the price, really. Last time my husband wasn't into it, the time before I got sick. So next time he said take a taxi and taxi back. So I am definitely going to do that and if my son wants to go okay and if not he can do his thing. Anyway......Not sure what hotel they will have us staying in. However, the conventions are fun, many of the states host a room and we got shot glasses that say I was shot, and they look like the case of the shot you put in a gun and these light up. I have vendors for the convention and lots of freebies. Got my son and husband $150 sun glasses, that they are now selling to the work places. Fun stuff like a flip flop necklace that lights up. Key chains, posters, and many other things like one I try to pick up each time, is paper clips like an airplane, or a helicopter. Really fun stuff they have, luggage tags, that you could spot your luggage a mile away. Okay enough on it......

DD, I have had trouble with the pictures also. I ended up opening my final draft of a picture in Paint to resie it because it seems to be easier. First I open the picture in Paint (right click the picture you want to resize and the drop down should give you the options of programs to open in, Paint is one of mine). On the paint program toolbar it has a resize option. If you click that it opens a box that has an option to resize the picture by percentage or pixels. I use pixels for the profile pics here, making them 175 or less pixels both hortizontel and vertical. Make sure you click off the little box that says "maintain spect ratio" or it won't work. Once that is done, I save the picture under a different name so I know its the smaller profile pic.

I am sure you can do the same thing in other programs, I just find it easier to open my pics in paint to quickly resize it. I think the steps would be similar in most photo programs. I don't use Paint for anything else but resizing.

I hope all this helps. I really want to see you!!!

Manda: You may not workout often enough for you, but you still have good results. Spin class? Do you get outside to bike? I enjoy getting out as often as I can.

DDi: I am waiting with bated breath to see your propic. In Paint to the left of the Home and View tabs is an unnamed tab. When you click it, you will get the option to Save As with many formats. Choose jpeg.

DDi: So MayDay is also the first day of outdoor sex. Can women wear their white high heels for the photo shoot?

Thinker, yes I get out on the bike, but spin is more of a workout not a ride. I am looking for a new beach bike right now for summer actually. :D
