I'm working on getting in the game. Biggest problem now is falling for women who are already in a relationship.

Thinker: That was a good holiday.... Ask friends if they know of anyone, ask people if you are working. I worked with a gal and she asked me and then about a year later, I ran into her and she had gotten married. I said how did that happen and she had asked some gal from work that knew someone. Amazing how that worked out.

DD, I haven't figured out a good name for the holiday, but it should be observed on June 9... at the very least. :mrgreen:

Skeetz: that picture of the bottle reminds me of pictures dh and I did one time. I had taken a bottle and put my picture over it. We have a local guys from the company that my husband works with, that started their own wine company and it is dedicated to breast cancer and they have a sexy gal on the bottle. Any way did the pictures as a picnic and brought out the bottle of wine and my husband was so impressed, I was that creative.....

Skeet, your new propic reminded me of a story from when Berty and Rita were here last year. The laugh is going to be at Berty's expense, though. But he has big shoulders and can handle it.

Ok... so when he first got here last May he wanted some Budweiser on hand to drink. Hmmmm... all the good beer in the world and he wants Bud. Well, after a few days of Bud and at the suggestion of somebody (Paul, Grumpy?) he decided to try out Dos Equis. So we're sitting on my patio one evening and he is drinking one... looks at the label and says, " Ok, I know what the 'Dos' means. But what does 'Equis" mean?" :lol: :lol:

Maybe the stogie he was puffing on addled his brain. :roll: :lol: Or maybe he didn't know as much Spanish as he thought. :?

The funny thing about Cinco de Maya is that it has turned more into a gringo holiday. From what I understand it is barely acknowledged in Mexico. Roughly, it is the celebration of a Mexican victory over French forces at the [minor] Battle of Puebla in 1862.

I saw that National Licorice Day was on April 12th. I still have not found O'Rice so I can lick her...my favorite activity! Has anyone seen her?
