Happy Monday after Valentine's Day weekend everybody! Hope everyone had a good'n!

We've got a winter storm alert here with heavy **** cover... temp around 32 degrees F and they've closed a lot of places and the grocery stores are hammered... no milk, bread and surprisingly no potato chips. They're calling for an inch to inch and a half or rain... better get my rain shovel ready!

Forecast for my portion of the big valley today, high of 73 and sunny! (I really like the Sunny part!)

But I'd gladly trade for some of your stormy weather! We desperately need it here! We've been drier than a popcorn fart for way too long!

I would like to see the temperature at least as high as my age for a change!

It's going to be frighteningly close to my age here today! Should cross that threshold about 1 o'clock . . . .

But that's a whole other story, and frankly it's a little depressing. I'd much rather concentrate on the Sunny part!

We got some snow last night with a little freezing rain thrown in. I will be concentrating on Sunny's parts today too!

Hi everyone! Looks like since the last time I was here there have been some beautiful ladies join in the fun, and that is really great! The ladies spark the interest and bring the boys out, then all kinds of fun can happen! As for me, I had the happy health news that I shared with you several weeks ago. Then, a couple days later my doctor called and said his intern saw something else suspicious somewhere completely different than the first time. So he thought we should check it out. So I started all over again, new specialist with different procedures, and that took a lot out of me. Really down, then up so high, then crashing down again. Things are good for now but I take nothing for granted these days!

I need to get better because I have an offer to do a clip on a professional mature website! I had that offer come just as I found out about my first bout with cancer. So it all got put on hold, of course, but now they are holding out the possibility of it again. I already have a glimpse from one of my amateur films we shot being used as part of a trailer there. (If you look hard you can find it). I am working hard at getting back in shape and getting my sexy back on. I am so excited about this opportunity so I really want to work hard to make it happen! If it works out, you will soon see me "here and there" as "Miss Hollie", since I am a little old to have baby in my nickname! The great thing about the site I am trying to get on is that it wants mature women and doesn't require perfect bodies, just a willingness to let go and be sexy.

I am not much of a forum writer these days, but if things work out, I will come back and let you know. It seems you and I have been riding the same Roller Coaster of late without knowing it. I'm sorry to hear of your big C problems and I can sympathize. You probably didn't see what I posted here a couple of weeks ago, but I too have had a serious go 'round with that hideous disease.

I was hospitalized with a case of diverticulitis in Sept, and in the process of diagnoses and treatment, a mass was discovered on my pancreas. That news made me swallow really hard, as everything I knew about pancreatic cancer at that time was that it was essentially a death sentence.

A biopsy was done after the diverticulitis was cleared up and the tumor was benign at that point. But it was on the face of the pancreas and was blocking the flow of secretions into the stomach. A blocked pancreas becomes very angry and inflamed and extremely painful if you eat or drink anything. My surgeon advised that it was the type of growth that was very likely to become cancerous at some point and that she was confident it could be surgically removed. I decided to go ahead with the surgery, and so began the process of reducing the inflammation.

Six weeks of, nothing by mouth, "No Food or Drink," for six weeks only intravenous nutritional fluids and loads of antibiotics! Then came the big day, twelve hours in surgery, (three months ago, last week,) they found two cancerous spots within the tumor that was carved out, along with about 40% of my stomach. I'ts been a very long recovery period. I'm coming back, but not as quick as I'd like.

I know I'm boring the hell out'a most of the gang, but the bottom line to the story came when the Doc. was giving me the news about all the test results a few days post op. The last phrase I heard was,"your cancer has been cured!"
Then the tears flowed!

I'll try to go back and read what you posted about your situation, but for now, suffice it to say that I truly hope you and I are both members of the "cancer survivors club" for a very long time, Miss Hollie! Love Ya' Sweety,

Miss Holly bless your heart. I know prayers can take things away. I had a spot and they did a biopsy and nothing bad. The best news was it disappeared. I thought I was going to die. I cried after I dropped my son off at school and the radio came on a song, I have never heard before and never since. It kept saying "you're okay, you're okay, you're okay until I heard it and got of my self pitty and knew everything would be fine even if I lost a breast, I would live and be able to see my son grow up. Years later and still doing fine.

Skeetz glad you are doing better now too. Wow love that type of store and wish we could eradicate cancer. I hate that word.
