Dee, if you are talking about your profile pic for the actual VW account- and not for the Forums, I can't help you out. I've tried a bunch of times to upload a profile pic there and have had no luck. And I sent repeated e-mails to Support to help me out and got no response. :? :roll: :roll: All I can say is try and send an e-mail to Support or Diego.

Dee, the pic is probably too large. You can use paint, free on pcs to resize. 275-275 as a size works well. If your on an android phone you can resize easily with photoeditor a free app on the playstore.

Any pic with you in it has to be a good one though haha pS I think you look fantastic!

my current profile pic is actually a view of the Christmas tree through the bedroom door and I used photo editor to shrink the file size down and crop it to a square so that I can use it to post.

I have another one with the cat has climbed half way up into the tree it's absolutely hilarious I'll have to post it when I get a free minute.

Dee here's a bit more info,

To expand on your profile pic question Dee, profile pics on the main page have to be 125 by 125. If theyre larger than that they won't upload. I would also suggest stripping out EXIM information from the picture, that will make the picture itself smaller in file size. Sometimes that makes a difference.

That definitely made a difference with the old profile pics which were file size limited.

Uploads here are file size limited as well now. My phone takes 4000*4000 size pics and I have to downsize to post or to text to most people.

The propics that we used to have were allowed to be a lot larger, they used to be 800 by 800. it would take you to their stand alone page which had the full sized 800*800 propic as well as their personal information that they chose to put in the profile.

The new PHP Board simply does not allow that. Or so I am told. I don't believe that to be true. I think it could be modified. I spent hours talking with Kiki about that. The thing we got out of that conversation was the personal gallery which you can add photographs to yourself, and those photographs can be viewed within your profile. They also show up in the gallery feed that everyone can see of everyone else's profile pictures. It's a little corpe to work with and get used to not many people use it. I have a few pictures in mine, Manda has some in hers, John has some in his and I believe Babycakes does too. the profiles on the r_c side have the ability to add personal photo galleries as well. Not many people make you said that there either.

I still think that the thumbnails that we use as pro pics here and link to personal profiles could have the personal profile modified to add either a link to a separate full sized pro pic or at least
