The topic comes up a lot! The voting is actually recorded by software that is able to analyze the IP address and user profile that generate each vote .
Every once in a while it goes in and corrects vote totals and eliminates repeats of both voting from the same IP address or same user or automated voting softwar.
Apparently over the years the prize money has been significant enough to attract the attention of people who want to scam the system.
There was a large group from the Ukraine a few years ago who were stuffing the voting in favor of models that they have hired and posted pictures of. The software was able to identify them and eliminate them.
One thing I've noticed people who post on a regular basis developed fairly large fan bases and they keep in touch with their fans by email or comments back and forth or here in the forums; and that encourages viewers and encourages voting.
Bree, for example, has a very large fan base and regularly communicates with them. I love your contri and always look forward them when I know they are coming.
