VW is losing tons of organic revenue because it is no longer available on the search engines. Two months of it lost thus far. Perhaps your robot.txt file needs updating or some other issue needs resolving to get listed again.

Why relist a defunct site that's not coming back? For a company that was supposed to have been working around the clock for over 7 weeks they couldn't even relist on google although these geniuses were able to restore a static page and even rotate some pics on the home page and change Igors name to Kate! What awesome talent VW has!! Too funny!! VW couldnt provide good porn for 7 wks but did provide good entertainment! It's hard to believe that they keep pumping out bullshit to try and convince whoever is left and willing to trust VW (how comical is that) to actually accomplish something of value and substance. All lies from the beginning.

This is not as easy as you assume. Google bases the importance of a site on things like links to the site, visitors to the site, and clickthroughs from searches to the site. By being offline for a month (and then subtly changing the URLs on the return), VW has lost all of the Google "importance" that it has built up over the years.

The specifically is not a way you can get your pages re-listed. All you can do is tell them which pages you would like them to list and wait for them to scan them, decide they are important, scan still more, decide they are more important, etc. as it snowballs over weeks or months. As Google decides VW pages are more and more important, they will scan more deeply and frequently.

Being down so long that all the pages dropped off the Google index, changing URLs, dropping Alexa pagerank to under half what it was, loss of substantial traffic, etc. all add together to mean it will be a long time before Google searches even start to look like what they used to.

Whatever the problem is, I'm not sure it's entirely related to Google's ranking algorithm.

VW has enough traffic and relevance to keep it at number one if you type in the domain name. Instead, its direct competitor's link shows up. Even a link to RC shows up when searching for VW (without the dot com), higher up in the rankings than VW. VW is losing as much as 20% of its traffic to its competitor via organic SE traffic.
