Now we'll see how much he terrifies the left by how hard they work to destroy him. Elkindoofus will provide a play by play from the libtard websites from where he receives his programming.

Cruz wanted to repeal common core.

But common core is not a federal law.

Who's dumber? The fool or the fool that follows the fool...

Elk, I believe Cruz was referring to the Department of Education. There are those that feel the Department of Education is a waste of taxpayer money, in part because it funds education for illegal aliens.

Hussein Obozo had to have a Teleprompter to speak to a fourth grade class.
Obama needs a teleprompter to order a meal, the worse President in our history.

That the best you can do Eklindoofus? You don't even understand what Cruz was saying, yet you try to ridicule him. You get more stupid every day.

OH now doesn't Intreptardo look stewpid...

… imagine repealing every word of Common Core.

Others can discuss his statements about guns and privacy. Here we will take a look at the one about the federal government’s relationship to school curriculum and the Common Core.

Cruz apparently thinks that the Common Core is embedded in a federal law that can be repealed. It isn’t. Besides, the federal government doesn’t dictate school curriculum and is barred by federal law from doing so.

Justme criticizes the president for using a teleprompter by using incorrect grammar.

The proper grammatical usage is 'worst' not 'worse.'

How Ironic!!!

Clearly Elkindoofus is a racist.
As we have been instructed by the Useful Idiots in the employ of our Dear Leader, Hussein Obozo, any criticism of an ethnic minority (Cruze is an ethnic Hispanic by virtue of his Cuban heritage) is a racial slur against every member of that minority. Therefore, Elkindoofus must report immediately to a re education camp for sensitivity training and self criticism sessions. This is the only path to racial harmony and feelings of warm fuzziness so beloved by our leftist friends.

Not necessary Elkindoofus. Cruz has already been certified by two independent authorities as being fully qualified to become president. Get up to speed Doofus. Does it hurt much being so stupid?

Atricle II, Section 1 of the Constitution of the United States

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Caps and punctuation as in the Constitution.

As said many times before, it would be utterly reasonable to see the birth certificate, health records, and all education records of each and every person who seeks the highest office in the land.

Cruz was apparently born in Canada, and so his situation would be the same legally as George Romney and John McCain and others, and so he would be eligible for the presidency.

But ALL relevant records from ALL candidates would be a good idea ALL the time.

This is probably one for the courts. The way I read this (but I'm not sure, as I'm not a lawyer) Cruz, Romney and McCain are not eligible to be President.

So guys born in Canada and Panama and Mexico are clearly eligible to be President, but a guy actually born in a U.S. state to a U.S. citizen mother is harangued by Republicans for six years about not being eligible.

What a wacky Righty world, huh?

snakeoil, it all comes down to the definition of the term "natural born".

"A Congressional Research Service report published in November[2011] comes closest to answering that question.

“There have been legitimate legal issues raised concerning those born outside of the country to U.S. citizens,” the report states. “The weight of legal and historical authority indicates that the term ‘natural born’ citizen would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship ‘by birth’ or ‘at birth,’ either by being born ’in’ the United States and under its jurisdiction, even those born to alien parents; by being born abroad to U.S. citizen-parents; or by being born in other situations meeting legal requirements for U.S. citizenship ‘at birth.’”

“When you’re born outside the United States to [U.S.] citizens, you have citizenship at birth,” explained Peter J. Spiro, a professor of law and an expert on the law of citizenship at Temple University. “You don’t have to do anything to claim your citizenship. You are a citizen from birth.”

The argument being that if you are a citizen at birth, you are a "natural born" citizen, as opposed to someone who must become a citizen some time after his or her birth.

Cruz's mother was a citizen at the time of his birth so he is as well. He could have been born on the moon, it makes no difference. One parent who is a citizen is all that matters. Question closed.

^^^^See, all you reactionary tools?

Even Intrepid knows that Obama is a "natural born" citizen and eligible to be President.

When will the rest of you clowns get on board?

The whole question as to whether Obama was born in the US arose when his grandmother claimed to have witnessed his birth in Africa. Why would the old lady say that ?
By Intrepid
#55905
Because people, like you, don't understand the law. Obama's mother was a citizen so therefore so is he no matter where he was born.

His Step Mother was a citizen but no one knows who is real mother is except that she was black, what makes you think she was a U.S. citizen?

"...his grandmother claimed to have witnessed his birth in Africa. Why would the old lady say that ?"-sillydaddy

Hmmm, why WOULD some old person say such a thing?

My Top Ten:
1. She might be senile.
2. She might simply have a faulty memory. It might have been another boy's actual birth she's remembering incorrectly.
3. She might be suffering from a delusion.
4. She might have wanted unearned status and prestige among her fellow villagers.
5. She might have wanted her version of "15 minutes of fame" on the news since reporters were there.
6. She might have some scheme to make money from it. (Souvenirs, T-shirts, tours, etc.)
7. She might be a pathological liar.
8. She might be a sweet old lady that thinks a harmless lie that makes a lot of people happy is OK.
9. She might be seeking protection from some sort of coercion or extortion by planting a doubt in the person's mind that she might have powerful connections.
10. Who knows and who cares?

You're 0 for 2 on this posting. Perhaps you should go back to the dugout so you don't make a further ass of yourself at the plate.

So what makes you think that his mother is not a US citizen? Does it matter, Obama was born in Hawaii but Cruz was born in Canada. So was Obama supposed to get his mother's certificate? How about his father's? Maybe they should authenticate the chain of custody?

Why should I believe that Cruz's father who is a Cuban national is a US citizen? Where's the immigration documentation?

Are we supposed to give Cruz more credence than Obama? Ironically Cruz may be ending up as the first anchor baby who runs for president...

Compounding your stupidity by making the same incorrect assertion in multiple threads isn't helping your case Elkindoofus. All that matters is that Cruz's mother was a citizen when she gave birth. No matter where she gave birth. Just like Hussein Obozo's mother. She could have dropped him on the dirt floor of a mud hut in deepest, darkest Africa and he still is a citizen, and NOBODY dislikes this jug eared communist community organizer more than I.
