It was less about the specific posts than to highlight that you have a couple of process problems. That was the suggested change: Quit *promoting* unoriginal material on the 'highlights' areas.

Kiki is right, please do not post your findings here. WAIT instead and just watch how the featured fake contri performs in terms of rating and number of comments, watch how comments with references to the original are disappearing within seconds and being immediately replaced by cheers.

If VW's joy is in becoming a mirror of other sites instead of being a place for ladies to publish original works, then I'm indeed out. Dragging and dropping pics from other sites wasn't the rule of VW of old. If "references to the original are disappearing and are being replaced immediately by cheers" is the norm, why not just follow the actual leaders instead of the followers? Put oneclickchicsk or imagefap or whatever in your feed and eliminate the middleman.

I already have a foot out the door. (And my lady contributes, just under a different name.) That this site is decaying into mirrors of other anonymous site just speeds it up. That you're defending them stealing material from other sites speeds it up more.

Stolen reposts are a HUGE problem under the current management, but they don't seem to acknowledge it.

I completely agree that the contributions department should never feature any contris which have not been sufficiently ensured as to be originals. I spoke to them regarding this, and apologize that it ever occurred in the first place.

VoyeurWeb is looking to do what it has always done: create a place where real, everyday women, including wives, girlfriends, and their partners, can come on and have fun posting and showing off. There is a ton of tired, professional model content out there on the web, that is not what we are about, nor do we condone stealing photos. We take no "joy" in the fact that some unscrupulous people upload stolen or professional content to our sites, nor do we defend such actions by others, it only hurts the community of VoyeurWeb.

with FF and one addon you just have to right-click on the image and click 'google image search'.

After repeatedly seeing these allegations of recycled or stolen content over recent months but not really wanting to take the trouble of dis/confirming them myself since I've never cared much about the photo sites, I finally decided to try doing so.

In fact, I was also easily able to find several of yesterday's and today's featured contris via google image search.

Specifically, yesterday's top-line featured contri from "Brenda" (easily identified as a French professional model named Amandine, photographed by professional photographers for a prominent paysite) has been called out as stolen by numerous commenters and presumably reported by them (certainly by me, over 24 hours ago), and yet it remains on the site.

If the problem, or abuse, is as systematic as this, espresso12's conclusion about the role of VW staff in perpetrating it seems pretty plausible. It certainly isn't plausible that they are incapable of conducting such a simple image search themselves on the photos that are submitted to the site before publishing them, and particularly before promoting them to main-page features. If they aren't doing it, it is either because they don't care and haven't been told to care (by anyone except Kiki) or because they are putting this stuff on the site themselves.

The 'contribution department' must be low on hardcore sets: 2 out of 3 featured RC contris fake, NOT 'only shown at the Explicit Redclouds Section' but at approx. 100 sites years before.

Ok, guys, I don't want to take the fun out of it, so everyone still wants to play the daily 'right-click, hit the fake' game, DON'T read further, here comes the spoiler:
OK, it's 'Votes make me happy' from WIS section, taaataaa, featured on main page.
In this case a simple 'right-click' on the frontpage crop is not sufficent, you really have to open the set and click on the single photos (I know, this is truely a pile of work). Anyways, you will find out that this set is a compilation of some newer and some really old photos, some of them have been even published in VW before, so you may find them in funbags (my guess is 2007-2008), isn't that funny!

VW really does have to deal with the question of "professionals". These comments about recycled and promoted work certainly mean the original models are getting nothing out of the posting. No thrill as amateur or at least compensation. Just some middleman getting bucks.
We have always ignored the pix taken at paid venues like nudes a poppin, but they seem popular and the photogs are amateur. But it still is promoting paid sex workers, which seems like something for a pro content site, not an amateur site. The photos clearly taken with other paid participants -- prostitutes, not even actors or models -- are just pathetic and exploitative. Not illegal everywhere, but pathetic. VW charges enough that you would think they could discourage the sex professionals.

Good catch, Superguy but for me it makes no sense anymore to post the daily fakes here.
Even the dumbest faker will change his method when being confronted with embarrassing uncoverings day by day.
Let me repeat: 'change the method' and NOT giving up to flood the sections with artificial content and to manipulate the contest. Actually today there is the next attempt to place a fake set into the contest. No, you want find the photos easily by just using the google image search.
But luckily, there are other indicators that make it easy to identify a fake set. This time, I won't tell you which contris are affected and why.
I'll wait until the end of the month and want to encourage you all to do it the same way. You just have to watch how some sets perform in terms of comments and rating. Take a closer look to the 'suspect' ones and see how they perform. Believe me, you will see some amazing recoverings and repositionings.

Espresso, you are right on the money with your comment about posting the stolen contri info here. It does need to be in the comment section of the contri for Admin to take quicker action.

I looked at the link Superguy posted and it is indeed a stolen contri. I made a comment this morning in that contri about it being stolen and giving Superguy the credit for catching it. I also tried to add the link proving said claim but the board rejected it saying it had "banned words" or something like that.

Just as in the past, the staff does rely very much on our community to assist us in discovering any stolen contris, or professional models - as you all know, many of them are very good at the cheating game and it can be very difficult to determine the difference from an amateur who has a hubby with photography skills and a professional model. We greatly appreciate any and all reports that you can provide (just be sure to include the URL of where the contri can elsewhere be found in the report)!

However, please note that if you post in the comments section on the contri or on the board here, the contributions team who handles the reports does not always look at these as they utilize the reports which come in from the "Report this Contribution" link on the contri (also please note that posting outside links to other websites on both the boards and the comments section is in violation of the rules to prevent spam and advertising).
