Pfc. Bradley Manning has been moved to a more comfortable prison cell after his attorney successfully argued his present cell didn't meet his needs. His new 20x20 cell includes internet and cable television including a private visiting area

Bradley Manning has been charged with 22 counts and faces the prospect of court martial and imprisonment. Manning is accused of leaking videos and tens of thousands of top secret field logs from Afghanistan and Iraq. He also is accused of leaking hundreds of thousands of State Department cables, some of which were classified, including names and addresses of those assisting the US military by identifying terrorist operations. It's been established that militant fundamentalist groups in Afghanistan used the leaked information in the field to hunt down and execute U.S. allies. It's estimated that over 600 informants and their families were executed by fundamentalist groups using information Manning released. An undetermined amount of U.S soldiers have died as a result of the information which included ungoing operations by Special Forces Groups.

Because he is innocent until proven guilty?

The fact that he leaked documents is a provable fact. What is in question is exactly how many of the documents that they obtained actually came from Manning.

There is also a lot of politics involved with the case and issues surrounding the case.



This in no way should be taken to mean that I believe he is innocent or that if found guilty I don't support him being combat dropped back into the zone without a parachute.

Bingo it's because of the politics, after all he's gay. It's been 3 years, the military has always taken swiff action plus all the evidence was in over 2 years ago. Nothing has happened in the last two years other than politicians and bleeding heart liberals blocking a trial. Their hope is that time will make most forget the 100's of people killed as a result of his treason. If he weren't a "protected gay" he would be worm food two years ago.
