Trump is all TACOed out. It's raining TACOs.

When Trump first announced tariffs and stock market cratered. Trump chickened out and backed off.

Now he's in a state of constant tariff extension deadline extensions.

Burritos anybody?

There an old saying ....If you make a decision and it turns out not to be the right one..
just make another decision....
This is what a good business man does all the time... But Trump haters call it "..chickened out and backed off." As if it was a bad thing.

"chickening out" ...That would be not making a decision at all... :O

That Republican hypocrisy rears its ugly head again, worse than ever.

Remember how for the last 50 years Republicans were all about free trade and removing tariffs because they were generally bad for everyone. Now Republicans are behind Trump shutting down free trade and increasing tariffs. Reagan made free trade deals. GHW Bush negotiated the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) deal that Clinton signed as soon as he got into office. Milton Friedman's Chicago School of Economics reigned supreme. Republicans railed against socialism and said capitalism was the only way to go.

Now we see Republicans are for the Federal Government running the economy. Now they want government control of everything. Now they want the economy to be run by the President choosing winners and losers every day instead of the free market making those calls.

When Biden or Obama changed their policies they were criticized for "flip-flopping" (something they did once every five or ten years.)

When Trump changes his policies, he's a "good businessman" (something he does every few days or weeks.)
First the tariffs are on. Then they're off. Then they're up again. Then they are on hold again, all in the matter of five months. All of this negatively impacting global trade and supply lines, harming the global economy, not to mention how it is a huge tax increase on American working people and now pushing inflation up again here at home.

Apparently what Trump supporters call "good business" is whatever megalomaniacal whim that hits Trump on a given day.

So much for capitalism and free trade. Now they are just an inconvenience. And Republicans couldn't care less about them.
