Political discussions about everything

ProPublica isn't a news organization; it's a front group for liberal billionaires wanting to ensure that the court rubber stamps their political agenda," Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino told the Washington Examiner.

ProPublica's publications have targeted Thomas several times, detailing his trips with friend and billionaire real estate developer Harlan Crow, Crow paying the tuition for the schooling of the justice's grandnephew, and purchasing Thomas's mother's home.

For Alito, the website published details on a 2008 fishing trip he took with conservative hedge fund manager Paul Singer. ProPublica pointed out that the trip was not included in Alito's annual financial disclosure and that he did not recuse himself from a case involving Singer's organization.

Alito preempted the report earlier this week with an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, where he defended himself and accused ProPublica of leveling "false charges."

“ProPublica has been in the business of launching partisan attacks on conservative Supreme Court justices for months now, and it shouldn’t surprise anyone given their funding from left-wing groups," Mike Davis, founder and president of the Article III Project, told the Washington Examiner, adding the "entire project is revenge for overturning Roe v. Wade."

Can anyone figure out why johnforbes once again just made the case for liberals?

He's somehow upset that conservative judges have been breaking the law and getting caught.

That's a good thing, dummy. It's actually important. Thanks for pointing it out once more.

Meanwhile, all one need do is look at the issues the Right is currently "excited" about and you see: banning over 2000 books, Hunter Biden's laptop, non-existent voter fraud, NOT enforcing the law equally when it comes to Trump, Hunter getting kicked out of a sex club, Trump-style court delays (which they support when Trump uses them) to escape statutes of limitation that might now favor Hunter, Hunter extorting money from someone, investigating the Bidens for years and finding nothing but still insisting they are criminals, investigating the Clintons for years and finding nothing but still insisting they are criminals, investigating Obama for years and finding nothing but still insisting he is a criminal, where rich people buy houses, backing the proven-ineffective Ivermectin for treating COVID, that Republican parents should decide what medical treatment their children should receive vis a vis COVID but that other parents should not be allowed to decide what medical treatment their children receive vis a vis gender issues, non-existent critical race theory in grade schools, and on and on ad infinitum. Oh, and Hunter Biden. If it is unimportant or non-existent, the Right is excited about it.

It's sad that johnforbes honestly can't see how he's being used by his handlers to distract from important issues like Republican gerrymandering, Republican restrictions on voting rights, guns and daily mass shootings, crumbling infrastructure, weekly toxic train disasters, the theft of classified documents and obstruction of justice, record heat waves, record cold snaps, record storms, record hurricanes, record tornadoes, and record flooding related to climate change which Republicans still deny, etc. but he pisses himself over inconsequential nonsense like Hunter and Joe being in the same room somewhere, as though they themselves are never in the same room with their family members.

Anyhoo, kudos to johnforbes for at least pointing out that Pro Publica is doing a great job keeping an eye on our politicians and judges.

My staff will read -- and, as usual, dissect -- every aspect of Clowntroller's latest tome.

Until that analysis is complete, I can only thank Clown for his spontaneous outpouring of praise, which of course Mr Forbes richly deserves.

Can anyone guess when johnforbes will start a thread criticizing Republicans for campaigning on the immigration problem, but then once in power they haven't taken a single step in the direction of immigration reform?

Let's all hold our breaths until he does, why don't we. It would be hypocritical if he didn't start such a thread on an actual real issue he complains about every couple weeks. You can always tell it's the sort of thing johnforbes is "excited" about. So a thread on Republican posturing and hypocrisy should pop up any time now.

Or maybe he will start yet another idiotic propaganda thread about the irrelevant drug addict Hunter Biden. The odds should be around 50/50, but I'm holding out for johnforbes actually giving a shit about America instead of simply regurgitating the latest talking points from his handlers who don't actually want anything done about immigration reform. After all, if they did something, then they couldn't blame Democrats for the problem any longer.

I'm excited. How 'bout you?

It could happen.....

Actually one of my biggest criticisms of Trump was that he did not mandate E-Verify, which would be a quick and compassionate solution to mass illegal immigration.

Without the lure of employment, millions of illegals would self-deport.

So why aren't you all "excited" that Republicans haven't written a single proposed bill to overhaul immigration policies in the 2 1/2 years they have been in power, johnny?

You keep criticizing Biden for leaving in place most of Trump's policies (which you mysteriously supported when Trump did the same thing) but have nothing to say about Republicans who are pissing away their time investigating Hunter instead of actually doing something about the biggest complaint Republicans have been whining about for years.

This is because Republicans don't actually WANT to do anything about immigration, but they want to campaign on the issue, scaring their dimwitted base with the boogeyman "invading" America which they themselves will do nothing to stop.

Shohei Ohtani became the first American League pitcher in nearly 60 years to hit two homers and strike out 10 batters in a game, leading the Los Angeles Angels past the Chicago White Sox 4-2 Tuesday night in his latest extraordinary performance.

That sort of dominance is what Mr Forbes has achieved (yet again) in this thread.

But modesty forbids him to continue.

johnny, being a pussy who refuses to criticize Republicans for failing to address immigration in 2 1/2 years after you tried to ridicule the Left for getting excited about catching judges breaking the law only shows you kissed the asses of your handlers with the talking point they fed you that day, got you to say catching judges breaking the law is bad, and that not addressing the immigration problem is good.

The only thing you dominated here is the list of Trump-supporting pussies who are too chickenshit to admit you are a Republican.

Let us know when you get excited about Republicans failing at their campaign promises...ya gutless weasel.

Trump should have made E-Verify mandatory, although the usual practice of an executive order would not have sufficed.

It was a terrible mistake for RINOs like Paul Ryan (who had 2 years as Speaker with RINO McConnell in the Senate) not to push for that in Trump's first two yars.

In other words, you are well aware that Republicans in Congress need to do something about it, just as I said, dummy.

^^^^^^ Look at johnny twist himself into knots talking about the past instead of the present in order to avoid criticizing Republicans now for pursuing partisan vendettas instead of doing the people's critical business for the past 2 1/2 years.

But as we all know, johnforbes loves to live in the past. He just doesn't understand that his two+ year old 'news' is boring and irrelevant.
