Political discussions about everything

Remember johnforbes' lies about how the warrants against the Trump campaign were based solely, or at least largely, on the Steele dossier?

Aside from the fact that warrants had been issued twice already before the Steele dossier even existed, it is now clear that the Steele dossier had almost nothing to do with it.

"Durham went after the Mueller investigation and ended up finding out that there actually was good cause for the FBI to investigate the Trump campaign's connections with Russians. Go figure. Trump's attempt to bring disrepute to the Mueller report by getting Barr to appoint a special counsel to investigate the investigators has backfired spectacularly. Two indictments of minor characters, two not-guilty findings by juries, several resignations from the special counsel staff in protest over Durham's methods, and no holes whatsoever blown in the Mueller investigation.

Kind of reminds you of all the lawsuits Trump has filed that have either been thrown out of court or resulted in serious judgments against him, the most recent having produced a million-dollar fine against him and his lawyer for misusing the federal courts by filing an entirely frivolous lawsuit. All that's come out of the Durham investigation is an example of what weaponizing an agency of the federal government looks like, up close and personal."-Salon

Granted, this will be all too confusing for the dimwitted, but let's see if johnforbes can wade through an intelligent fact-based article in his mother tongue.

Durham's years of doing whatever were a great example of the pointlessness of Special Counsels.

First, there are literally thousands of investigators and prosecutors, so more = superfluous.

Second, a Special Counsel takes the controversy out of the headlines for years.

Third, Durham scowled at the camera, but took years to charge a few unknown folks with expectorating on the sidewalk, brought cases in 95 percent Democrat areas, with Dem judges, with Dem donors on the jury, and to the surprise of nobody came up empty.

Justice is not just blind, but nonexistent.

I'm really surprised to see johnforbes criticizing Republican incompetence this way.

And I thought Trump only hired "the best people" to do his bidding.

But it is good to see johnforbes so desperately try to divert from the fact that the Steele Dossier was not critical to the renewal of warrants against the Trump campaign, that there was no wrongdoing in the Mueller investigation, and that johnny will even resort to criticizing Republican failures to achieve his diversionary ends.

Incidentally, it didn't work, did it, johnny.

It is very well known that it was the main pretext, although obviously not the only one.

For example, they did *** to Yahoo "News" and then -- in a loop -- referred in subpoena requests to those news stories as if they were more evidence of the need to wiretap Trump's team.

It was a vast hoax for political purposes, as we all now know.
