Political discussions about everything

Media outlets the story (from ABC) with the Jeffries claim that 5 officers died on Jan 6 because those dumb protesters were raising hell. Yes, they should never have been there or entered the Capitol (whether they were allowed in or not).

But isn't it true that Officer Sicknick died of a stroke, with the autopsy showing no physical trauma? So weren't the initial reports wrong that he was hit over the head with a fire extinguisher? CNN and all the rest got the Sicknick story factually wrong for a long time.

Isn't it also true that 4 other officers involved in the riot (Liebengood, Smith, DeFreytag, and Hashida) died by suicide in the 6 months after with no proof of any link to that fateful day? Doesn't it seem probable that other factors in their lives could also have been significant in a decision like suicide?

For viewers like me who would never go to a stupid protest/riot, it would be interesting to find out what the heck happened. For example, Judicial Watch recently learned that Lt Michael Byrd (who shot unarmed Ashli Babbitt who should absolutely not have been there) was put up in a luxury suite rather than being investigated. Why?

Anyhow, there is a lot of serious journalism to be done, but two years later pretty much all news consumers see is political rhetoric.
