Political discussions about everything

Here's a link to a website for absolutely unbiased information from Senators and Representatives in Congress or Governors of states.
Watch the "Welcome" video about who they are and what they are doing.

https://www.astartingpoint.com/

The website allows no 'flaming' of contributors and has no comments from viewers. You get only what the elected officials themselves want us to hear about their political views--take it or leave it.

Videos are just one to two minutes long and the elected officials can provide links to more information on a given topic if you are interested in pursuing it further.

Also, there is a "Couterpoints" section with focused debate between two elected officials on various topics without rambling distractions or personal or partisan attacks.

The site gives citizens an unbiased starting point to begin educating ourselves on the issues of the day.

Looked at a few of the "gun safety" ones, but they ignored the global trend where Political Correctness across Europe, in Canada, in Australia, and now in New Zealand led to citizens essentially unarmed.

This means private citizens could not defend their country from outside attack as a supplement to whatever military they have.

In the case of Canada and Australia, they historically had some brave soldiers who fought well, but there were never enough of them to do all that much, and there are fewer today because all the money in those nations goes to socialized medicine and welfare for their new legal or illegal immigrants.

Look at Chicago, with the shootings just last night. Chicago has very strict gun laws, but it does NOT stop criminals from obtaining firearms, so all of these gun laws merely make legal owners more defenseless.

What would the couple in St Louis have done faced with a violent mob trespassing and threatening murder?

The police would not come, and private security firms refused too, so they were on their own because the governor and AG in that state were initially quite spineless and had to be humiliated into stating support for the innocent homeowners merely trying to renovate an old mansion.

Take a so-called Republican like Kasich and he is really a Democrat like Mitt Romney.

On the plus side, some of the Democrat politicians have great gangster-looking suits.
