Ottawa (AFP) - A former journalist broke her silence on Friday to stand by her allegation that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau groped her.Girlie man gropes a woman, wonder how many men he's gropped?
"The incident referred to in the editorial did occur, as reported. Mr Trudeau did apologize the next day. When asked by Matt Galloway, a radio host, why he had apologized if he did not believe he had done anything wrong, Trudeau replied: “It was because I saw that she had been made uncomfortable and I did not want her to be uncomfortable regardless of whether I knew why she was uncomfortable or not, she felt I did something wrong, that was enough for me.”
Trudeau was asked whether he intended to open an investigation into the issue, given his party's zero tolerance policy on sexual assault. He did not respond to that question rather than to say that he had apologized and the matter is closed.
