Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will not speak at the Republican nominating convention in Tampa later this month, she said in statement on Sunday.

“This year is a good opportunity for other voices to speak at the convention and I’m excited to hear them,” Palin, who was Senator John McCain’s running mate in the 2008 election, said in a statement on Gretawire, the blog of Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren.

“Everything I said at the 2008 convention about then-candidate (Barack) Obama still stands today, and in fact the predictions made about the very unqualified and inexperienced community organizer’s plans to ‘fundamentally transform’ our country are unfortunately coming true,” Palin said.

She said she supports Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his running mate, Congressman Paul Ryan, and intends to focus on grassroots efforts to rally independents and the Republican base to elect Senate and House members “so a wise Congress is ready to work with our new president to get our country back on the right path.”

On August 30 at the convention, Romney will formally accept the Republican nomination to challenge Democratic President Obama in the November 6 election.

Republicans didn't "Hate" Palin, in fact, more people wanted Palin than wanted McCain - she didn't sell out the party like McCain did.

The established Republicans did not support Palin, They hated the pick and didn't help McCain and Palin at all. Sure the rank and file people making under 50k per year loved her.. but the money in the party wanted to have nothing to do with her and you know it..

Now this is clearly an example of a lie...

IF that is true then your dog has even more brains than Paul Ryan and Romney as well.

Ryan voted for Obama's idea to bail out the auto industry. And Newt Gingrich said on an ABC interview that both Romney and Obama are the same.

Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Former Ambassador John Hunstman served under Obama. The Transportation Secretary (Ray Lahood) is a republican.
Current Director of the CIA is Former General David Petreaus is also a republican. He was rumored to have been considered by Romney as his Vice President running mate.

So if you logic is true that you dog has more brains than Obama and Biden combined then your republicans have less brains than Obama ? They all served under him.

Is your dog still smarter than Obama ? I'll take it as long as you agree that Obama is smarter than republicans.
