Have any of you been to Navarre beach ? How does it compare to Johnson beach ? I know it is part of the same park system. Are there places to easily get nude ?

After hurricane Ivan, Navarre was torn up so bad that the road to Pensacola Beach ceased to exist after the last house on the beach (the Turner house). You could park there and walk a half mile and you had the place to yourself.

That lasted for three or four years before they finally reopened the road. That was the end of that, as it's now patroled regalarly.

You can go east from Pensacola Beach for about a mile past the Portifino Resort. Technically, you're still on Pensacola Beach until you get to the National seashore, but it's kind of a no man's land as far as enforcement goes.

The few PB lifeguards who do venture down don't seem inclined to bother anyone. The downside is that people can and do park on the highway and walk over the dunes to the beach. It's only 50 or 100 feet, so they can be on top of you before you know it.

If you go from Navarre Beach to Opal Beach, just a few miles west. There is Federal park with Large pavilions on both the gulf and bay side. the nude boat club anchors on the bay side near Sabine point during the summer.

Option 1: go to the gulf side and walk east away from the crowds, find a sand dune and be nude. Life Guards never bothered us

Option 2: go to the bay side, walk west towards the big sand bar, once you get past that it is safe. Just have to watch out for non-nude boaters who like to anchor their but you will see more nude boaters than non-nude
