[quote]French President Emmanuel Macron has scrapped a carbon fuel tax rise amid fears of new violence, after weeks of nationwide protests and the worst rioting in Paris in decades.

One of the activists leading France's protest movement says that he fears more deaths if Saturday's demonstration goes ahead. Christophe Chalencon said that "if not there will be chaos," with risks of more deaths.

Chalencon said in an interview Wednesday with The Associated Press that the grassroots movement, triggered by ever increasing tax hikes in the name of climate change has pushed the people to a breaking point. I'm afraid the cancelling on the newest fuel taxes won't be enough, a giant has been prodded long enough and it's going to take a lot to calm that giant. Ever increasing costs due to millions of migrants has seen taxes rise in every area, enough is enough, don't try and sell us on saving the planet, it's about getting us to fund their social agenda.

They own him now...It's over for the guy..
Yep, he gave them what they wanted and now they're demanding more and threatening to burn Paris down if he doesn't give it them.
PARIS (Reuters) - French authorities will close dozens of museums, tourism sites and shops on Saturday, including the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, fearing a recurrence of last week’s violence in Paris, officials said on Thursday.

With protesters calling on social media for “Act IV” - a fourth weekend of protest - Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said 65,000 police would be drafted in to stop a repeat of last Saturday’s mayhem in Paris, when rioters torched cars and looted shops off the Champs Elysees boulevard.

At least four of the weekend’s first division football matches have been canceled.

Things are heating up for Macron, dudes make sure you have plenty of popcorn and your favorite drinks for the entertainment tomorrow!
With more Yellow Vests protests approaching this weekend President Macron is worried about a possible coup attempt. Calls have been made to attack parliamentarians and police forces, French media report.

Even though the French government abandoned the fuel tax hike after sweeping protests, the movement still calls upon its followers to gather on December 8. “The Act IV” will be held under the motto “we stay on our course. Macron must go.”

On Thursday Eric Drouet one of the movement's most famous leaders announced the Yellow Vests plans to march on the residence of Emmanuel Macron. “Saturday will be the final outcome, Saturday is the Elysee, we all would like to go to the Elysee,” he said.

So far 700 protestors arrested as Paris burns, Macron has been in hiding for the last four years, mean while the streets are quite all across the United States as our President enjoys 3 times the favorability rating of Macron. The Trump curse gets another socialists.

Then popcorn sales to you Republicans should skyrocket. They all love watching people die just for entertainment.
I've got to admit, I got a tingle up my leg today watching citizens standing up to their socialist government trying to fund social engineering by selling climate change. That dog no longer barks, pass the popcorn.

Clown even you have to admit, yesterday watching Macron's socialist government melting down under the pressure of their own citizens was awesome. Macron's approval level is down to 18% and 72% of French citizens fully support the demonstrations and call on Macron to step down. They want a real leader like Trump to fix their country. They watch Trump turn our country around in just two years, they also want to be great again!
“The Paris Agreement isn’t working out so well for Paris. Protests and riots all over France. People do not want to pay large sums of money, most to third-world countries (that are questionably run), in order to stop natures' climate changes. Chanting ‘We want Trump!’ Love France,” the president’s tweet read.

Macron spoke out today with a solution to Paris' problems, he asked the private companies pay everyone bonuses to make things right with the people angry with government.

Macron must have consulted with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to come up with that solution.

Well businesses refused Macron's request to give all workers bonuses so they can pay the increased taxes so more protests are scheduled again this weekend. Adding to Macron's problems, French unions have decided to join the jellow jackets in the protests and strikes. Pass the popcorn, another exciting weekend as citizens of French reject Macron's transition from partial socialism to complete communism. 20% of French earn more than 5 times the amount of the other 80%, the greatest disparity of any country. That's the way socialism works, there is a designated elite class who control the herds. In contrast only 5% of Americans earn more than 5 times the rest of our citizens, that's because everyone has an opportunity to escape the herds (unless you're black, Democrats won't allow that).
PARIS (AP) — Anticipating a fifth straight weekend of violent protests, Paris’ police chief said Friday that armored vehicles and thousands of officers will be deployed again in the French capital this weekend.

Michel Delpuech told RTL radio that security services intend to deploy the same numbers and strength as last weekend, with about 8,000 officers and 14 armored vehicles again in Paris.

Delpuech said the biggest difference will be the deployment of more groups of patrol officers to catch vandals, who last weekend roamed streets around the Champs Elysees, causing damage and looting. Police arrested more than 1,000 people in Paris last weekend and 135 people were injured, including 17 police officers.

Many protesters have expressed disappointment at the measures and trade unions are now calling for rolling strikes across the country.

“The best action is to go on strike,” said Philippe Martinez, the head of leftist trade union CGT. “There are inequalities in this country and we need to make big company bosses pay.”

Demonstrators took to the streets in large numbers yesterday across France. Several highways were shut down and scores of vehicles destroyed. Numerous demonstrators smashed their way into a government ministry in Paris using a forklift causing evacuations. Several tourist sites were once again shut down across France.

Police said about 3,500 demonstrators turned up on the Champs-Elysees in Paris on Saturday morning.

Several hundred made their way south of the river to the wealthy area around Boulevard St Germain, where they set light to cars and several motorbikes and set up burning barricades, prompting police to fire tear gas to try and disperse them. The fact that demonstrators were able to breached police blockades and enter the elite neighborhood of the super rich, shocked residences who have been shielded from the violence in past demonstrations. President Emmanuel Macron was quick to promise it wouldn't happen again.

The Interior Ministry put the number of protesters who took to the streets across France at 50,000, compared with 32,000 on December 29 when the movement appeared to be weakening after holding a series of weekly Saturday protests since mid-November.
Macron is suffering the Trump curse. Everyone who tries and take Trump out have bad things happen to them, it's karma. It's happening so often that some of us feel Trump was chosen by a higher power to defeat the infestation that was spreading. Trump is approaching a god like status.

Even Mitt Romney, with his MBA and JD from Harvard, didn't understand Trump's rise.

The deranged socialists don't get it either.

Trump got elected against the wish of the DNC and RNC, and he got elected because he had a backbone unlike weaklings such as RINO Romney and RINO Jeb.

There is a saying in the Army which derives from the ancient Romans (audentes fortuna iuvat)) which means:

Fortune Favors the Bold

Now Trump was not a military hero, and he may never have parachuted out of planes which I did as a dumb kid. But he is bold.

Audie Murphy said that he acted with the French saying "toujours de l'audace" in mind, always doing something bold which the enemy might not anticipate.

France gears up for the 9th weekend nationwide protest in a row, this one is shaping up to be YUGE as increasing numbers call on Macron and his globalist agenda to be replaced.

Even the libtards have to admit, no one is protesting in the streets of America because there is no reason to. Trump is doing an outstanding job of keeping us out of the globalist agenda other world leaders tried force on us. Macron butted heads with Trump and Macron loss.

Pass the popcorn and watch the streets of Paris once again be turned upside down as the people reminds their government who they work for.

Paris burns again this weekend, tourists flee their hotels as new violence spills over into the tourist destinations.

Paris (AP) — French yellow vest protesters set life-threatening fires, smashed up luxury stores and clashed with police Saturday in the 18th straight weekend of demonstrations against President Emmanuel Macron. Large plumes of smoke rose above the rioting on Paris’ landmark Champs-Elysees avenue, and a mother and her child were just barely saved from a building blaze.

The resurgent violence came as protesters are seeking to breathe new life into a movement that seemed to be fizzling, and get attention from French leaders and media whom they see as underplaying their economic justice cause and favoring the elite.

Paris police appeared to be caught off guard by the speed and severity of the unrest. French police tried to contain the demonstrators with repeated volleys of tear gas and water cannon, with limited success.

Cobblestones flew in the air and smoke from fires set by protesters mingled with ***** of tear gas sprayed by police, as tensions continued for hours along the Champs-Elysees.

One perilous fire targeted a bank on the ground floor of a seven-story residential building. As firetrucks rushed over, a mother and her child were rescued as the fire threatened to engulf their floor, Paris’ fire service told The Associated Press. Eleven people in the building, including two firefighters, sustained light injuries, as other residents were evacuated.
