(AP) — President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, had his White House security clearance restored Wednesday after meeting with Mueller for a second time; this after months of uncertainty stemming in part from his role in the ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

A number of people have pointed out that Mueller's appointment was unconstitutional anyhow because he isn't a petty officer.

It violates the appointments clause of Article II.

The weird thing is that it is now clear that Brennan and Clapper et al. wanted to reverse the 2016 election, and that appears to be the main aim of Mueller too.

Mueller gave himself away by not ending the investigation when he first learned that his primary investigator and attorney were involved in the conspiracy to frame Trump. Instead he tried to make the quietly go away before anyone found out. From that forward Mueller is just as guilty of the plot as they were. He blew his chance to wash his hands of and save his reputation. He's all in now and no way out. He was hoping Trump would fire him so he could save face but Trump didn't do it.
