Pirate's Cove CA

Curious...any central coasters here? Or anyone that has visited Pirate's Cove nude beach? Great little beach tucked between San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach...Was there yesterday and the weather was amazing...

Pirates Cove is a great place, nicely protected from the wind.
Hope to go there soon on a warm afternoon.

Digging out an old thread on this, were headed to CA in a few months. Is this still a good place to go?
Traveling the coast from LA to SF if anyone has some good spots for us to check out post up. Coming from the cold midwest will it be warm enough to get in the ocean the next few months?

Never been to Pirate's Cove but if you are in LA and want to make a side trip to Palm Springs, be sure to check out Desert Sun Resort.

Nice beach. Usually a volleyball game at the far end from where you enter. Like many nude beaches however, getting to it can be tough for older folks. The last part of the trail is sort of steep but okay if you are careful. Near the volleyball area there used to be a long rope tied at the top near the closest house that athletic folks used as an assist up and down.
