Merlin, Is non-consensual posting of totally innocuous photos (no nudity, no implication of sex) really a problem? Interesting question. Illegal or unethical?

As to legality, my wife posts pics of me on Facebook without permission -- and of our underage kids! I actually told her to stop b/c of Facebook's evil facial recognition project, but if she still did it I really really doubt it would be legally actionable.

Ethically, yeah, it's a sexually oriented website, so I can sort of see it, maybe...

But practically speaking, if the OP wants to start posting nudes he'd be well advised to get her permission before putting any pics of her on this site or similar ones. It's really important not to start off on the wrong foot with this kind of thing!
