No, dimwit, Obama didn't say anything about melting glaciers or that melting glaciers is the reason we need more ice breakers.
You can't just make up stupid shit and pretend it's true.
You need to read the rest of your article, Tool.
"The moves are nods toward Alaskan leaders — including Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan — who have been urging the administration to bolster the paltry ability of the Coast Guard to monitor the largest state’s 6,640-mile coastline.
The announcement late Monday night was an acknowledgment that the United States has fallen behind other nations, especially Russia, which possesses 40 icebreakers and has plans to add at least 11 more."
If Obama is so stupid, why are the Republicans calling for the same thing? Are you calling them stupid as well?
Haven't your partisan hate handlers told you about this fact that makes you look like an idiot?
And why are the Russians so stupid as to spend money on 50 ice breakers while we have just one?
Here's a clue for you, Tool:
"The announcements Monday night — after the president’s speech to senior ministers from Arctic nations — were also an acknowledgment that climate change is prompting a scramble for the rights to develop the Arctic’s largely untapped reserves of oil, natural gas and minerals."
Obama explained, for the benefit of clueless bastards like you, that global climate change is making the Arctic more accessible year round, which means other countries are going to move in and take everything while we are left holding our dicks and looking stupid because of partisan morons like you. I know you're used to it, but I'm not.
Russia has claimed something like 450,000 square miles of the Arctic and we are unable to do anything to stop them.
They are claiming international waters and laughing at clowns like you who are too stupid to get behind more ice breakers to maintain our presence and our interests there.
So what part of the Republican call for more ice breakers and the increased need for them due to climate change doesn't make sense to you, Tool?
