Political discussions about everything

Lynne Russell, the former anchor of CNN Headline News, and her husband were involved in a deadly shootout when the couple fought off a robber late Tuesday night in Albequerque, New Mexico.

Russell’s husband, Chuck De Caro–a former CNN correspondent was said to have been shot three times, but is expected to survive, according to CNN.

Russell told the New York Post she was grabbed by a man with a gun outside their motel near her car and forced back into the room.

“I opened the door and he materialized out of nowhere; he was inside,” she said. “And he pushed me into the room and onto the bed and closed the door.”

De Caro emerged naked from the shower and quickly grabbed his own gun. She said the suspect shot first and her husband returned fire, killing the man. The fact that De Caro was armed is surprising to many since he's a very vocal anti gun activist.
Fucking hypocrites, all of them, they feel only the social elites should be trusted to protect themselves with guns.

Good lord. Is there there no mendacity too large or too small for RealFreedManJustMe and his flitting, twirling sidekick, Forbes?

"Russell and de Caro — both described as expert shots — were legally carrying concealed handguns, she said. She said she offered to search her purse for something of value to hand over to the gunman — and slipped her gun into the purse, which she then handed to her husband."

Albuquerque police said Russell was accosted by a man about 11:35 p.m. Tuesday (1:35 a.m. ET Wednesday) in the parking lot of a Motel 6 and was pushed into her room. . . .

I'm betting it was a craigslist sex meetup at the Motel 6 that went bad. There is no other reason they would have been staying at a Motel 6 unless the guy was delivering drugs to them. Damn liberal CNN anchors involved in kinky sex and drugs at a cheap motel, both of them packing guns they feel normal citizens shouldn't have. Why do people listen to them for guidance?

Russell is a trained cop and has been a private eye.

Her training would have allowed her to see that guy coming a mile away.

So it surprises me that she allowed him to get into the room.

You're right....something else was going on.

The local cops think so too and are investigating.

Couldn't find any info. on who the guy was....

It will be something if the guy turns out to be black....lol !

Damn, knew there had to be a reason the media wasn't releasing the attackers information, turns out he was a black thug with a long history of crimes. The suspected gunman who was killed during a shootout with former CNN reporter Chuck de Caro has reportedly been identified by police as Tomorio Walton. What's interesting is the police are now saying Tomorio "allegedly" is unknown to the couple and "allegedly" fired first.

Take a lesson: if you ever have to shoot someone, it's best if there is only one story to tell after.
Bingo, but when they check the txts on the thugs cell phone and find naked pics of her on his phone and txt with prices for the drugs to them, there goes their story. Their story has more holes in it than clown.

If someone is breaking into your home and you shoot them, just make sure they fall into the house (before the police get there).

The nigger is a parole violator from Tennessee!

What would bring a cash strapped Tennessee nigger to New Mexico?

Long way to go and risk his life to pull an ill planned robbery for chump change.

The plot thickens!

Wonder if the cops tested both Russell and de Caro to see if BOTH fired their weapons!

Not necessary in all states.
I agree but if you're white and the person you shooting breaking into your home is black, it may be legal under State law but the Feds are reviewing all of those for a possible hate crime and they won't hesitate to abuse their power to bring charges for political reasons...so play it safe and make sure the thug falls in after being shot.

What 2X8 refers to is the, "Castle Doctrine Law." Which holds that your home is your castle and you are free to defend it against anyone. If your state does not currently have this law, you should contact your Senators and Representatives and demand they pass it.

Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, et al. are rushing to the scene to express sympathy for the robber

Yep and if the black guy's body is outside of the house they'll claim all the black guy wanted was to use the phone to call his grandmother's doctor that's why he was banging on the door and the racist white guy shot the poor guy for making noise just because he was black. Even if the State allows you to shot someone trying to break in, the NAACP will have lawyers suing you in civil court supported by the DOJ. If the body is found inside the house/doorway, end of discussion he wasn't there banging on your door just asking to use your phone.
