Clinton is a private citizen and was a private event when the woman threw a shoe in her direction. At the most this should have been nothing but a misdemeanor offense where she should have been released after processing. But she's being held without bail and now Holder is pursuing federal charges.
A federal magistrate on Tuesday ordered a Phoenix woman to remain jailed without bail until she is returned to Las Vegas to face federal charges in June. If convicted of the federal charges she faces two years in prison and monitoring after being released.
FOR THROWING A SHOE AND NOT EVEN HITTING ANYONE...NO BAIL AND FEDERAL CHARGES?

When a woman threw a shoe at Palin, the woman was just escorted out of the building, detained for 4 hours then released, the liberals went viral that the woman was detained for 4 hours now they're applauding the federal charges and no bail for the this woman. Our Government is drunk on power and is abusing it.

Throwing the shoe was a show of displeasure, it wasn't even a simple assault, the shoe didn't hit her. They can call it an attempted simple assault at the most, but that's treated like a traffic ticket in this Country.

No one can claim she was trying to kill her, so why are they treating it like an attempted murder and not allowing this women bail? Hell even attempted murders get bail in this Country, abuse of power is out of control.

Holder will end up in prison for his crimes, little birdies are already starting to sing and pointing out where the evidence to convict him is. A special investigator will be appointed by Congress as soon as Republicans take control of the Senate in Nov, Obama will try and use executive power to stop it but he'll end up being impeached and the investigation will snow balls as rats come out of the sinking ship.

This is amazing, still in federal prison with no bail allowed for nothing more than throwing a shoe that didn't hit anyone. What the hell is this Country coming to?
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A Phoenix woman accused of throwing a shoe at Hillary Rodham Clinton during a speech in Las Vegas remains in federal custody after pleading not guilty to two criminal charges.

Alison Ernst, 36, entered the pleas to misdemeanor counts of trespassing and violence against a person during her arraignment late Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Cam Ferenbach then granted the government's request to keep Ernst in federal custody. She is being held at a jail operated by a federal contractor in Pahrump, 63 miles west of Las Vegas.
