Your name has come up in threads before because at a casual glance, you look like a picture stealer. (Lots of contris of different girls in short time, etc.) None of your images show up on other sites without VW logos either present or obviously cropped out. There's been some question on your amateur status, but you're OK in my book. You definitely have some good work on here, so thank you! There was more discussion on this in the December and earlier threads.

I'm admittedly being a bit of a troublemaker here exactly to encourage MORE reporting and MORE action from the site when reports are made exactly to let real contributors come through. If the clear fakers weren't at the top, would you be in the top more? Certainly couldn't hurt. It's gotta be frustrating for you to see copy/pasters at the top of the boards.

Some copyright infringement tough love from actual owners may get some attention.

Actually, It highlights another problem publishing pictures you don't have permission to distribute from the owner. Let's say that "Coral" decides tonight that, for whatever reason, she wants to disappear from the internet. This happens on Reddit frequently. She knows that she has an Instagram account and a Tumblr account and she can delete those two accounts on the spot. It seems quite unlikely that she knows "she" has a post with 350,000 views here or that "her" contri is going to be online forever at Funbags. She doesn't know these pictures are "out there" to be deleted. We've seen many threads before on how unresponsive the site is to removal requests even from actual owners.

Yes, we all know that once something has been on the internet (esp. pictures of naked people) they don't really disappear ever, but in examples like this, you can at least take steps to reduce their further distribution. She probably doesn't know they're being distributed here.

Since the account used to post HERE is a known, repeat faker (dik4fun-like) I have no idea why this account hasn't been drop kicked, his account perma-banned, and all his contris pulled. Banning a few accounts - and letting them know WHY they were banned - would do a lot.

I recognize that post by the URL because I had a blow-up with VW about it. I reported it it, with links to two original tweets (earlier publication dates, no VW watermark, the gal being a well known MFC cam girl that was easy to recognize. They responded that they "didn't see the resemblance". I then went full Rain Man with every pic in the set. See that mole on the right side of her chin? On this picture, it's on the left - the submitter flipped it and here's a link to the original source. See those two moles here? Here's the uncropped version of that picture that includes those two moles. How do we know she's the original and not the poster here? Because here's another thousand pictures of her with that mole and jbaby rarely posts the same girl twice - at least that isn't one set that's reposted." I did this for every picture in that set. I then did the same for EVERY pic in other posts which were MFC Daisyfairy or Candy4Fun or that had unmistakeable tattoos or background furniture or whatever. (I have odd hobbies and sometimes too much time...)

After a few days, some specific sets did disappear, but even after going all "CSI T&A" and providing links to many dozens of links to well known sources showing what he was taking and where he was taking it from, the admins still didn't take action on all of the sets or ban the account. I mean, seriously, when you can point to the source of every picture in a set and show a clear pattern of abuse and they won't take the posts down was when I really started to wonder if the site itself may be injecting these fakes just to prop up viewer and paying subscriber counts.

I think the "only members..." page is being displayed for removed posts (which, IMO, is a bug...) But it IS an interesting question for a Funbag subscriber to confirm. If you're logged into FB, Does that link still display MFC #B_happy or Twitter CaliGirlxxx?

I just looked in PS. Your Blue Stockings contri is currently #6. Three of the five above you are almost unquestionably stolen or otherwise invalid. One is Katia Kat, an amazing contributor here for many years. I won't say she can't be outranked, but it'd be difficult to feel bad about being outranked by her. (I originally typed something inappropriate about being behind her just because I'm still a dude...)

If it closed right now, my understanding is that you'd win $700 for Cooling Swim - an excellent contri that's absolutely not stolen, IMO, but in the lesser trafficed FS. Blue Stockings (also excellent, thank you) would be #2 for $700 in PS right now if the fakers were tossed. You can't win $700 for each FS and PS int he same month, as I understand it, so the conflict is a bit academic. If you were holding both those contris and timed them differently, could you win more? Seems like it.

Thanks guys - the money is not the important thing - I just like showing off my photography. Do not get me wrong, the money is nice sometimes - but it is always the same thing - last month the same thing happened with the fakes and bumped me completely out of the showing.

One other thing is this - the two sets I have in this month's sections sat in the Que for over a week in December - they were meant to be shown in the December postings but they were held by VW until Jan. 1. That will definetaly make them be one the bottom of the lists by the end of the month.

My freestyle contribution for January has also been bumped not only by a one faker but by a completely miscatagoried set of an Asian chick in a key West bar Wet T-shirt contest that is definitely in a bar - INSIDE - somewhere and not outside as the Freestyle contest is all about - Women OUTDOORS! LOL!

That's pretty embarrassing. Given how many times the site has been busted on this, I really do think they're allowing (or perhaps even self-submitting) stolen material to keep real winners down since the fake accounts never complain about not getting paid. Stir in fudging the launch dates and the intentional miscategorization and it's just hard to believe otherwise.

The site has always had bad math for scores vs. launch dates. Entries come in high and then float down, so anyone watching the site long enough knows that submitting a really strong contri later in the month will do better than that same contri earlier in the month.

Seriously, the site doesn't read reports. They don't read the forum. They don't read the contris or the deleted comments that call them out. The 'owners' don't read or act on mail contacts. This is crazy.

That's hardly suspicious or surprising. The best ladies (legit, hot, and well shot images) generally submit their work in the second half of the month. I don't see how that relates to any messing around with the numbers. I'd bet that if any of the "regular" ladies that place well each month submitted on the 1st, they'd still finish as well. Mediocre contris later in the month certainly wouldn't bump them down.

Not here to make money or win contests, but the fact that so many fakes are around and winning is not a good sign for the seriousness of this site. It seems to show one of two things: 1- They don't care or 2- They are happy they don't have to pay the winners since they are almost always fake ones... Either way, it does not make a good case for real contibuters to continue to post here and trust the site... Sad...

Consider why this happens. The best posters have been here for a while and they know that entering later in the month works to their advantage.

If each contri had 30 days of voting - meaning that a contri submitted on Jan 30 couldn't be declared a winner on Feb. 1, but also meaning that Jan's winners couldn't be declared until March 1 - this factor would be less easy to control by submitters.

I'm certainly not calling out those that take advantage of this as cheats. I'm calling out the site (for all the good that does...) for bad math that encourages this behavior. It's been true long enough that the submitters know it.

Still, this is less of a problem and harder to fix than the stolen pic problem. Right now, one third of the top 15 in Private Shots alone are easily recognizable as old web shoots and have been reported. Focus on that before learning about the Law of small numbers.

This situation is troubling... Why don't the owners do anything about the fakes? Either they don't care or it suits them so they don't have to pay real winners. That is just sad and does nothing to make real contributors continue to post. Not here for the money or to win anything, but when a site shows that kind of terrible lack of seriousness, it does not encourage people to let them handle private photos...

- The link of the sites where they were found

These we will forward to our Management Team who will investigate with the help of Contributions Support Team. Once proven, they will then have these images/videoclips removed.

There are instances though that the images from our sites are the ones stolen. In these cases, we inform the other sites to have our contributions removed from their end, and we retain the copy in our pages to be viewed and voted on until the contest is over.

That's exactly the point I'm trying to make, Theblackcat. The site is increasingly overrun by scammers and there is nothing being done. I'm really thinking the site is in on it or even doing it themselves - and too lazy/incompetent to cover their tracks - just to drive membership up. When the site doesn't have to take the extra five seconds to right click/search on a contri and ignores the input from those that DO and turns an eye at the scammers that delete the post from those crying "foul", It has the absolutely bad effect of driving REAL contributors away.

We never posted for a shot at winning/money - this site was never about that for us. We demonstrated above that imagesbygordon actually does have a couple of tangible claims to being 'in the money', but is being manipulated and outranked by clear fakers. It's troubling, indeed, to associate your email and credit card with your nudes to a site with clearly questionable ethics.

So, what happens when the likes of Theblackcat and Imagesbygordon leave and there's no original, exclusive material? Does VW become just another tumblr clone or occ of endless reposts?

Every report I've made - and quoted in this thread, the December thread, the November thread, the October thread..., and mailed to that address have this information . Are you saying the report button is a placebo?

There are instances though that the images from our sites are the ones stolen.

I'm aware of this possibility. But on the day you publish a contri, if it's available on a hundred other sites with earlier publication dates and no VW watermark and has already been indexed by multiple search sites, that's clearly not the case. Even when there's absolutely clear proof that you're publishing commercial material from pro shoots, nothing happens.

If you're actually serious, you'll read the reports already made and retroactively ban several posters and the rankings will change radically immediately. As I read this, 5 of the top 15 in PS are rips.

If the account dik4fun, justbob, lena redhead and others called out still exist, we know you're not actually serious.

There are instances though that the images from our sites are the ones stolen. In these cases, we inform the other sites to have our contributions removed from their end, and we retain the copy in our pages to be viewed and voted on until the contest is over.

It's not like it's even difficult to spot the fakes before even making those two clicks. The formula is pretty clear and the people that do it once will do it ten times or more. If you have a first time poster with professional lighting, makeup, and shooting, it's not s sure thing, but it's worth two clicks to question. If you recognize Sinn Sage or Brianna Lee or whomever, the submitter just should be banned.

It is pretty clear we are not rest assured. You have a lot of people that are taking their own free time and do it a lot of leg work for you right here in these threads for free. So we're not trying to argue with anybody were pointing out problems that are going to eventually kill your business. The people that pay for subscriptions want to have an assurance that there is fairness in the voting, fairness in the prize awards, and that there's some sort of response from management or ownership.

I am happy to see you responding here in the threads but there's enough information right here for support to do something.

I think it's frustrating for those of us who care about the site and care about supporting a place where women can come and let their hair down. It's hard to find a place to be flirtatious or exhibitionist and most importantly, have a little bit of fun.

I can't tell you how many conversations I've had about the lack of responsiveness to reports of posts and how discouraging it has become for the women that I know who like the post. "It's just not fun anymore," she said. Let us all hope it doesn't become a trend.

These women are like unicorns, they're rare, exotic, and interesting to be around and to know. Having a place for them to come and post and banter back and forth is important; in addition to the fact that it makes a ton of money for the owners.

Why let that die when a little bit of work and communication with members can go a long way to repairing the problems?

I don't bother to report, but I have sent screenshots and links to both Leo and the owner of this thread and the several other threads reporting lost or stolen or questionable contributions.

We really want the site to thrive and survive. Personally, I like the free side forums and this is where I like to hang out. I have an RC membership but I don't go in there too much other than to talk to a few friends personally. I am of the opinion the forums are an incredible resource that VW does not recognize. We're just trying to help you make this business of success again. It's a fun place and I hate to see it slowly fall apart. Especially when all it would take is a small amount of money and some freaking attention. 1 full time employee could probably do the job but it has to be somebody who's willing to engage with the membership community and participate in the community answering questions solving problems and generally being around.

I don't even bother to start a thread for those since the chances of them actually joining in are slim to none.

I remember the days when dudes were scanning centerfolds and claiming them as their own. :shock: For a while after the split, this site was overrun by fakes (I assumed they were 'seeding the field') and I gave up on it. My money was on (and with) that other site for a while as they had a lot going for them, but they forgot they're fundamentally a picture site (I just checked several pages on a really big monitor and zero pixels 'above the fold' were pictures), it's unnavigable (I don't even know how many domains it is any more with no cross-nav), and engagement just fell off a cliff. I came back here and the new visual design here is nice, but the administration is nearly non-existent.

So much history was rewritten during the split that it's hard to know what really happened and who really controls either side, but the split definitely left both halves weaker. Each side got some things right.

There seems to be some amount of money coming and going through the site. The front page doesn't talk about a million unique visitors a day any more and it's impossible to guess subscriber base vs. whatever percentage of payouts they actually do make. Perhaps stolen pics ARE their business model - prop the site up with fakes to keep real contributors from winning, maybe pay a few models of your own, and don't pay anything for prizes. Process a DMCA takedown here and there and just live off subscriptions with your only overhead being a robot to autopost contris that you queue up and some robots to argue with each other in the comments. When you posted, I sent the link to this thread and a screen shot straight to Leo. We discussed this thread and the contri issue with fakes. He assured me that he is both aware and working with Raven to make sure the fakes do not win. It's a tough thing for sure to try and keep everyone happy and I agree. It isn't my site or business so all I can do or anyone here for that matter is be supportive and enjoy the conversation and communication. Keep in mind there are some who would love for VW to fail. So sometimes it's hard to sort through folks with real concerns and real questions and those who just want to stir up bad feelings.

Yes, that exact set from last month was published before on VW in 2010. The VW watermarks weren't cropped and while it's not impossible to edit away watermarks, it doesn't look like that was done here. There were no NEW pics in that set, so it's not impossible.

Khainna has one (amazing!) lady, Nessa, and not 'binders full of women' and unlike, say, Sinn Sage (who is still there...) it's not like this girl is everywhere on the internet and I don't see these pics anywhere without a VW logo on them. Contrast this one to, say, Man Den who has seven different women in three days, each of which is trivially cropped from web shoots where you can find the uncropped originals and THAT's not setting off alarms.

Is it possible that the poster has the originals and resubmitted them? Sure. Does that get close to the line of "100% original"? Maybe a little.

IMO, the site has so much more low-hanging fruit (that they're not harvesting) in the name of clearly stolen rips of someone else's material that it's hard to get worked up about this one, especially if the site had some way of connecting the two accounts.

I'm not seeing a 'name and shame' necessary on that one at all unless you find originals.

Me too! Rather than use the report button, I did exactly as Raven stated - sent email with full details etc & link to the contri by Man Den - but still his post is there. Indeed Men Den now has over 12 posts within the space of a week - surely that statistic alone would flag up something?!

They may as well just call it a pro site now rather than amateurs as there are none left now - indeed one has even commented that they don't send in any pics anymore due to all the pros.

TL;DR (because I know the admins won't anyway...) the site is overrun by copy/pasters. A low number of posters continue to flood the boards. Once a poster has been proven a faker even a few times, ban them and retroactively take their posts down because every vote, view, and comment they get distracts from REAL posters.

This site has turned into a fraud and a joke. How sad. I wouldn't post here again for any reason. There are places on the internet where they at least try to keep it real but this place wants the fake pictures, no matter Raven or whoever she is says. She must think people are really stupid. Of course, reading the endless comments made by the half wits on the contributions, even after they have been pointed out to be real porn stars like Sinn Sage or whomever, shows the IQ of many are not high so VW keeps right on with the fakes. Its a cheap business model.

What really burns me is the last time I put up an instant photo it got instantly great comments and lots of looks and a high vote, then poof, it was gone. Third time in a row that happened. When I asked for an explanation of course I was ignored. I was told someone doesn't like me since I complained about the fakes. So screw VW. If they don't want real women posting, and they don't seem to, we won't.

Still, Thank you for your efforts in pointing out the endless stealing and faking going on here. It pisses me off that it happens but entertains me at the same time to read your monthly expose. I can't believe a site would be so ridiculous in how it operates. Keep pointing out the lying and stealing. Someone needs to.

I think it's frustrating for those of us who care about the site and care about supporting a place where women can come and let their hair down. It's hard to find a place to be flirtatious or exhibitionist and most importantly, have a little bit of fun.

I can't tell you how many conversations I've had about the lack of responsiveness to reports of posts and how discouraging it has become for the women that I know who like the post. "It's just not fun anymore," she said. Let us all hope it doesn't become a trend.

These women are like unicorns, they're rare, exotic, and interesting to be around and to know. Having a place for them to come and post and banter back and forth is important; in addition to the fact that it makes a ton of money for the owners.

Why let that die when a little bit of work and communication with members can go a long way to repairing the problems?

We really want the site to thrive and survive. Personally, I like the free side forums and this is where I like to hang out. I have an RC membership but I don't go in there too much other than to talk to a few friends personally. I am of the opinion the forums are an incredible resource that VW does not recognize. We're just trying to help you make this business of success again. It's a fun place and I hate to see it slowly fall apart. Especially when all it would take is a small amount of money and some freaking attention. 1 full time employee could probably do the job but it has to be somebody who's willing to engage with the membership community and participate in the community answering questions solving problems and generally being around.

VW has always had a problem with stolen images and I suspect other sites have similar problems. And it might just be my imagination but the problems seem to have escalated since the big crash.

I'm not saying this site was "perfect" before the crash, but there were a LOT more REAL contris and the BB's were a lot more active with the contributors coming over here and chatting. Nowadays there are still some real contris but a lot of them are what I call "professional amateurs" that post on this site as well as other sites. I don't even bother to start a thread for those since the chances of them actually joining in are slim to none.

I agree with you, SomeDude. There doesn't seem to be much concern at Admin contrary to what they claim. It's going to take this site to go further down the toilet for the owners to do something. Or maybe that is what they want. "Failed business"- tax write off. :roll:

No wonder some of the past ladies don't bother to post here anymore.

I chose these quotes because Jbe, Rock, myself and many others have had this conversation over the many years either here on the boards or PM's. Each one of us has personally invited various ladies to participate in discussion on the BB's. Those that came found encouragement, friendly banter discussion on photography and topics that had no particular direction.

Hell we even had virtual parties on any given weekend. Thanks to a dear friend Thumper that provided posters and Berty the lovable sick puppy he is for coming up with the themes.

Sinsation, Gattina, Cherry, Vanessa and many other regulars have vanished both from the contri's and the boards. Granted this type of thing does have a shelf life but discouraging new comers such as Theblackcat is not good policy.

Maybe reducing the prize money may help in resolving some of this problem. I is after all billed as an amateur site. Let the ladies have there fun and willingness to share with us for a time. Half of which are not here for the money any way.

One last point. I don't know how many times I've flagged rude and inappropriate comments on the contri section yet month after month the same trolls are there. The free side should be a gateway to the pay side not a dead end for those just starting out.

When I clicked 'report' on each of the posts AND post a forum thread AND send mail to the admins and still can't get Man Den taken down and still see pro porn stars we don't even have to search to recognize stealing votes, comments, and - in theory - winning rankings from REAL contributors like yourself, it's just sad.
