Lorelei was the name of a feminine water spirit, similar to mermaids or Rhine maidens, associated with the rock (Lorelei on the Rhine) in popular folklore and in works of music, art and literature. Many boat ran aground on those rocks taking many lives - I always thought that car would be the death of me. It's long gone and I'm still here.

Then I got a red Dodge Dakota sport pickup truck with black Mopar roll bars and I still don't understand how I never named that truck! I got so much attention in that thing :lol:

I'll bet the truck was a blast. There is something about a girl in a truck. For the longest time every car I had was red, then I just got tired of it and now my choice is Black.

I sold the red corvette last summer. If I get another sports car though it will probably be a 911. I'll keep BB for now though. I like the ride so much.

Off somewhere out away from the city lights were you talk quietly and listen to the night and watch the milky way turn into dawn? I used to love to do that sort of thing. i bet i have never heared anything about the first car i had. it was korean daewoo nexia. old rusted car. it had many rust wholes in the doors so when i locked the keys inside it was pretty easy for my husband to open it. he just put his arm in one of those wholes and unlocked it :lol:

Excellent taste in cars there honora. The XR4Ti is on my list of "quirky cars I must one day own"... but at this point it's ridiculously hard to find one in decent condition. The only good ones left are those that have been restored and people have put a ton of $$$ into them. I'd actually found a decent one 10 or 11 years ago and could have afforded to pick it up if I'd not been in the middle of a divorce at the time. Just too many things going on, too many lawyer bills, etc... :roll: It would have made a nice track car.

Somewhere back a dozen pages or so in this thread we'd talked about exercise and such and I'd mentioned my treadmill/TV watching routine and blah blah blah...

Well, since I have nobody else to brag to (or at least, nobody else who actually cares) I'm bragging here. In a little under 2 months I've managed to drop about 7 pounds. Yeah, I know I could do better... but I'm having a hard time giving up desserts. (I can't help that I love sweets... at least it's the only really bad habit I have.)

But still, 7 pounds is 7 pounds. That's a whole hole on my belt. :lol: The shorts I bought at the beginning of this summer actually fall right down if I don't have a belt on now.

Feels good to be about a third of the way there!

Jess, after much rigorous Googling (not a euphemism) I've discovered that what you said isn't quite the case. In short, it's an optical illusion thing. Excessive body fat in the pelvic region around the base of the penis effectively "hides" some of the length... so once that fat is gone you see what's actually there, not that it gets any bigger.

In my case, I have no excess there (all around the belly for me :roll: ) so nothing's getting any bigger.
