It's difficult to distinguish a contributor that's posted their own pics on numerous other sites (IPN, VC, DA, VR, OCC, Tumblr, and others in this basic space) AND here from some random person taking the unwatermarked pics from those same sites and reposting them here. How do you know that Brianna Lee herself didn't give her pro pics to vmbass to publish here for her "first time on VW" post and that it was OK to crop out the logo of the site where she actually makes money? "Of course not, that would be silly". Did Tera give those pics to Buckingbill? What if fiorentino actually was the photog that took the pics of "Veronica" in 1998 with his terrible camera and just happened to post them to other sites ten years ago? No, I think it really is easier to hold the line that if it appears on another site without a VW watermark, its not exclusive content and doesn't belong here.

The front page of the site clearly states "All the models displayed on our network are 100% exclusive and can't be found elsewhere on the internet!" Once you open the door to "post everything everywhere...it's OK if you post here, too.", you have to drop that promise. If VW wants to hold its head high above the endless sea of clones with reposted material, it needs to actually make the statements on its home page be true.

There's a difference to me in how to handle the two cases. Save the tar and feathers for the flagrant reposters of xossip and desinudes and such. If you catch it at the FIRST offense (which would imply anyone with any power is reading this or any other means of trying to catch their attention) instead of the 204'th, gentle nudges become easier. I set the two pics from DLP at the same resolution and compared them. The logo wasn't cropped out, so it probably is an "original" contri, even though the material has been published before. Is darklensphoto.deviantart.com an amateur? Dunno. VW makes a big deal about being a site for amateurs. One of the gals complaining she's not been paid here has a subscription web site. See how complicated it gets?

Frankly, given that for every DLP or imagesbygordon that's close to the line we have 25 dik4funs and fiorentino and the site hasn't given a shit about the latter, I'm not terribly worried about the former. Show me a sign this site isn't totally automated before we start splitting hairs.

And people need to vote Poor for every fake set of pics that posted, then Report it as well. Thank you for your work in pointing out all of these fakes. It's one of the reasons so many real amateurs quit posting on this and other similar sites. I don't mind the girls who post their own pictures on one or more of the free sites like VW, WW, or PV, I used to do that because I had different people who followed me on each site. I never won anything anyway so it didn't matter but I had a nice following for awhile on each and it was fun. But these guys that rip pictures from the web and post them as wives or girlfriends frustrate those who try to do it the right way. Those who run these sites don't respond to you because they don't care about things like this, after all they are people who run porn a porn site, I suppose business ethics are not real high on their list of important things. I have even heard rumors that the sites encourage the pro pics to lure in more eyeballs. But it is still nice to see someone who cares enough to call it out. Thank you!!

These have been on here before. They were posted by a Ukrainian group of people that were more less like a gang who would fake post in order to win contest. At the time ago I was managing the site and he caught them and kick them out the girl was actually a member of these forums and participated quite a bit, the rest of us were really surprised to find that it was all a farce by this gang of people who were trying to win contest. Maybe someone else can remember the girl's name if you can give me the name I can link to her old contributions cuz they're there when we would have been up and active in 2008 9:10. I recognize some of the pictures I believe this is a text book in the bottom right that's in Russian you can't quite see it in some of the images.

No proof that it's stolen, but I will say this... the user claims to be a photographer in Holland, but the quality of his submissions is too random. Any decent photog would be a lot more consistent with things like lighting, shadows, etc. Maybe I've just gotten overly skeptical, but I'll just say that I've spent a lot of time reading about photography, working on my own camera skills, and talking to seriously professional photographers, that I have a very basic understanding of what it takes to produce quality images.

On the bright side, the supremely gorgeous regulars are starting to show up - as they always do near the end of each month - and are bumping the fakes down the rankings and out of the money spots!

They have a process they use to identify multiple votes from the same sources. IP addresses and other identifiers to weed out ballot stuffing. That almost always catches the fake contri. I can't think of any obvious fakes that actually win. I'm sure some slip through though.

What about the contris that are clearly stolen from elsewhere on the web, but are racking up "legitimate" votes? Currently in the Private Shots rankings 2nd, 4th, and 6th are all stolen images... but if they're getting legit votes (which they certainly could... "Nessa" is 2nd is outstandingly good looking) is VW management paying out?

I would surely hope not. I can try again to get a response but it hasn't been a productive effort so far this summer or fall. The fakes take away attention and votes from the women we want to nuture and promote as contributors. I agree with Honora, they should be pulled.
